1997 Ford Windstar (3.8l V6) — The Ford Windstar 1997 is a 3-door van with somewhat of a nice attitude: the looks aren't too bad. The interior is not very glamorous and the instruments aren't worth looking at. The direction is sometimes too heavy and sometimes too light; depending on the speed. The van becomes very noisy at high speeds. It's a reliable van that deserves attention if you're looking for a used van. Parents owned it and drove it to almost 500 000 kms.

Family Friendly — Roomy, a 4 by 8 plywood sheet can fit inside. I had the wiring for the class 1 hitch fixed and had to replace the wiper motor. I find it to be of average quality build and cost for maintenience. It has nice pickup with a 3.8 L engine in good shape.

V-97 — this was my sisters car and when the car needed repairs i took it. it had good acceleration but it had a transmission problem and i got to drive it only 2 days before the motor whent in it. too bad it was a nice van that lasted a long time. it was good for everyday driving but if you tried doing highway with it you would come into a load of troubles
