Id Buy Another One — Performance of this truck is acceptable. It has a 2.3L I4 and a 5 speed manual transmission. acceleration is a little lacking but brakes awesome and handles well for a pickup truck. build quality is amazing i have never had to do anything but change the oil and all 8 yeah 8 spark plugs. Appearance is great i love the way these trucks look. Gas mileage is awesome average 26 MPG

Great Truck For Anyone. — Performance - Strong acceleration, lots of torque. Braking isn't the best out there, stock that is. Handles like a sports car. Build Quality - Plenty of room in the engine bay for upgrades, no squeaks or rattles whatsoever. No major replacements besides a thermostat (not major). Appearance - Very easy to make these trucks look different and stand out, just takes some time. Cost of Ownership - Truck was 17,899 new. Maintenance isn't expensive unless your paying someone else to do it. 20-23 gas mileage. Fun Factor - Very smooth and powerful truck = fun

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Sweet Deal — I bought my truck for $400. i put about $1400 in the truck maintence wise. I love every minute of it. it shines like a dimond when shes clean. its a little slow on the get up and go, but i love to drive it with the locker in the rear and my 31x10.50s.

Pros

gas economy

Cons

v6 engine to small 30

It Is Great On Gas — its a v6 and needs to be a v8 then it would have the power to get up the road. it runs fine and hauls what i need to haul. great on gas that would be the reason i bought the truck.

Great Little Truck For The Average Homeowner. — Not the best acceleration for a v-6. Very useful for someone who needs a pick-up. Just wish that they thought more into the comfort factor. Great little truck for a do it yourself home owner. Nice little truck for a fair price.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros

comfortable work truck

Cons

misfire, EVAP control, hard maintenance

35

Uhhh... — My truck is very comfortable and is great for what I do, however it has quite a few problem that include a pretty bad misfire, you have to wind it up a lot in order to shift smoothly, the gas mileage is terrible, there is an EVAP problem somewhere other than the gas cap, and I can't find the ignition module.

Cons

Really Nice Truck — it's cool. for a truck it has really good pickup and i can lay rubber half way down the block. it's a blast to drive and totally owns in the winter and the snow. overall it's a quality vehicle. it's build quality is nice . no crappy plastic japanese parts. the gas mileage is great for a truck and there's never any serious maintenance on it.

Pros

Good mileage, load capacity, comfortable on long trips-550 mi.

Cons

Standard cab, short bed

35

Over All Good Shape, No Mechanical Problems — Ability for decent load and 22+ mileage 2.3 with a 5 speed and low restriction intake and a Cherry Bomb muffler.Would have liked to have gotten a xcab but this came along at a below book price. I still like it more than dislike anything else about it. Have owned it for 2 years now and put less than $200.00 inti it mostly front end parts where previous owner had a stopping problem and a idler pulley for serpentine belt. No other problems than that!
