Pros

Great car, Nothing really bad to say about it

Cons

nothing

Great Car — The performance on this car is good for the size. It has a strong 3.3l in it that has no problem getting up to speed. Braking and handling are both Excellent for the size of the car. This car had a lot wrong with it when i bought it but i drove it for a long time before a water pump brought it down, After replacing the water pump i would say it would go another 50K with no problem. Interior has some cool features like the message center and a really comfy front seat the back seats are so nice you would fall a sleep every time. Exterior, Kinda ugly but could be made to look better, With the right color and a little wing and maybe some rims it could look really good. The gas mileage in this car is really good!! i get around 26-29 depending on how much city i go or how much hwy. maintenance isnt to bad pretty cheap on the parts and a lot of room to work on

Pros

it's roomy and still gets good gas mileage

Cons

Doesn't fit in parking garage spaces very well it kind of wide

It's A Decent Family Car With A Kick Of Power — I love this car. It gets 20ish mpgs with a V6 while still having some giddy up when passing or merging on the freeway. The lines of the car are clean inside and out and the seven speaker stereo makes cruising in the car that much more enjoyable. The trunk is enormous while still being accesible. The only downsides are the width of the car and the tail lights are unnecessarily complicated to replace.

Pros

Loved the car.

Cons

Didn't like the electrical problem/

45

A Nice Car — This car was really nice. Sure, the fact that there was some sort of electrical problem was a drag but it was still a nice car. It used to go 250 miles on only half a tank of gas. Acceleration wasn't that great, but it braked and handled well. This was by far a favorite to drive, despite some mishaps. Would still have this car if it hadn't been in an automobile wreck and it got totalled.

Great Car — Bought in 1998 with 25,000 miles on it. Base model had been a rental. Now has 175,000 miles. It gets 25-28 mpg in real world driving. Replaced water pump and timing belt twice, which is about a $500.00 job but needs to be done every 75,000 miles. Replaced front brakes several times, but never needed to replace rear brakes. Needs struts I'm told as they are the originals, but car rides ok and tires wear well so I've held off. Wind noise around front windows - turn up the radio and live with it. This has been a fantastic, wonderful, reliable, comfortable car. Feels big and safe, handles well, plenty of power from the 3.5 v-6 engine. Transmission still works well with 175,000 miles on it. Had it flushed and conditioned at about 100,000 miles. That coast about $200. I still think its a nice looking car although the paint is starting to come off the roof. I'll drive it till it dies which may be anytime or another 100,000 miles or more. I've got other newer cars, but I still drive tis one most of the time. Love it.

Pros

It actually handles very nicely, like a sporty Buick. gol

Cons

Known 4 bad tranny's, as is the neon.

Over All It's O.k., But Then I'm Also A Aircooled Volkswagen Lover, But U Can Never Beat Free! — So far seems to be an all round good car & easy 2 maintain, but the transmissions in these cars potentially suck & are the first things 2 go! The overall apperance is pleasant, not 2 boxy & not 2 bubbly. Gas mileage, is eh, ok 4 what it is & how old it is. Fun....Oh Yeah, it's got some get up'n'go & it coasts awesome! Now I just need 2 get the stereo hooked up.

Pros

daily driver

Cons

they rust out and the front subframe bushings are 400 just for the parts

25

If Its Rust Free Theyrs Ok Would Try To Avoid Them — its the D.D. needs exhaust work front suspension and the fuel leak fixed and it would be a great car starting to rust out in the rear quarters but its a hoopty dont expect too much out of it its been broken into three times radio stolen twice and the car the last time almost the didnt get to finish popping the ignition cylinder out. would be ok on gas if it didnt leak
