I Like It Because It Was My 1st Car — Performance was lil bit weak but it was manual no squeaks no rarrles ... Its TOYOTA the interior and exterior are weak because its old japanness car i liketo drive from time to time it will never cost you and you can consider it as a life time car

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Great Small Car! — Great performance in acceleration, breaking, and handling. Great quality and value. Decent appearance. EXCELLENT GAS MILEAGE (almost 40 mpg) and low maintenance. The car had 150,000 miles on it when I purchased it and it is in great condition and running well overall I would recommend this vehicle to ANYONE!

Cons

Slow Accelerator, No Rear-Deck Speakers

Dependable, Reliable, And Fun To Drive — This car is known for it's dependability and solid build, and my car definitely exceeds those expectations. Fun to drive, great handling (I can use one finger to turn the car 180 degrees around easily), speedy, comfortable, and good on gas (25 city, 32 hwy). For it being almost twelve years old, the body and interior are like new. The AC still blows cold, and it only has 113,000 miles on it. I love this car, and will keep it for many years to come.

Cons

Toyota Still Going Strong Since '96 — Performance - slow acceleration, handling is solid, motor is reliable Build Quality - almost never needs repairs Appearance - all the paint is on it and there are no dents, but the trim is falling off Fun factor - not much of a wow factor, but it is a manual transmission Mileage - around 217,000 km

Good Commuter — This car is fun to drive reminds me of my Geo Storm GSi now only if this was that that it would be a blast to drive, only trying to find another one is like a needle in a haystack.

Amazing Car. Nothing To Say Against It, I Love It. — The performance of this car has met my standards. For a 4 cylinder it accelerates fairly fast, braking is great, and it takes corners like it's no problem. The only thing repair-wise I've done to it, is the brake lines, and a battery. But those are just things that go with time. I've been working on my car, improving the look slowly, but even without it, so a little reliable car, it's really nice looking, and the interior is awesome. I just don't like that the AC adapter is right under the drink holder, so when I have a drink in there, it blocks the socket. Cost of owning this car is cheap. I bought it for 2800, and it's cheap insurance, and I get over 500 km per tank, with next to no maintenance. I think this car is a lot of fun to drive. I'll have a hard time ever getting rid of it.

1996 Toyota Corolla — Bought it new in 1996. Reliable car, good gas mileage. 210k+ miles and it's never really needed much work *knock on wood*. I would help if the car had more power, it takes all of it's might to get onto a highway or pass a slow car. The best car I have owned so far.

Enjoyable To Drive, While Saving On Fuel And Repairs. — The 1996 Corolla accelerates quickly, brakes well, and handles the curves nicely. The engine runs very well and has not needed very much in the way of repairs. It is noisier on freeway driving than the Toyota Camry, as it is not as insulated. The appearance is of a practical car but a little bit sporty as well. Cost of ownership has been very good. This car is fun to drive and it maneuvers well.

Great Car — I have owned this car for 13 years; hardly any problems. This is a great low cost car. I use the car for commute to work. I Would by another, but my wife and I want something that sits higher off the ground.
