Tough And Roomy — Like this car for its go power and traction in Virginia winters of ice and snow. Can climb a hill like a 4 x 4 truck! Gets great gas mileage on Highway and long trips and good around town too. Great for fishing and camping as its roomy and has the luggage rack on top- I have slept in it on a rainy camping weekend and it was comfortable.

Value For The Money — Typical Subaru, keeps on running. Fuel efficient for an AWD vehicle. Handles corners well with a low center of gravity. With proper maintenance, these cars give you years/miles of service. Subaru loyal drivers can provide testimony to their longevity.

Good Car For The Money, Becoming Cheaper — well what can i say about these cars that have not already been said, goes like a rocket, looks great, handling is good for big estate car, no rust either. just a couple of silly scrapes to body work that i did pulling out of my drive early one morning, which are being repaired.

Scooby Legacy Gt — Understated, M3 crushing performance. Solid as a rock inside and out. Looks awesome in my opinion. Inside has all the toys you would possibly want or need, sucks petrol like an oil tanker though. Feels like a train on the road, grip, grip and more grip. 4WD security and boxer exhaust note makes the whole experience worth while.

'96 Subaru Outback — Performance - Almost unstoppable in the snow with winter tires on. Great ground clearance - better than most SUVs. AWD system up to most challenges, though not quite up to Audi Quattro standards. Quality - With 144K we're starting to see more frequent repairs - up to 100K was fairly trouble free. One repair under warranty - replaced the transfer case. Appearance - Just starting to see rust LR wheel well. Fun - This car is practical and functional - I won't describe it as fun.

Solid Build — Very solid...Runs and rides great. Imma hoping to upgrade the speakers. Stock ones work and are decent but to compliment my new stereo I need something that has some low end. Nice car to drive. Not the best acceleration, but it can turn on a dime. Just get some speed up and follow the apex of the curve. BTW I get great fuel mileage considering the fact that it is 12 years old.

Pros

Cons

Everything is getting old and it's all expensive to fix.

It Was A Good Car In It's Day. — I've spent about as much as I paid for it in repairs. That's what you get when you can only afford a 10year old car.

Love Subie's — This car may be a bit old, but it is still really reliable and runs really good. It has lots of cargo space. It drives great over the Mountain passes up here in the Pacific North West and on long road trips. It's a Subaru so the name pretty much speaks for itself
