Fairly easy to work on.

Cons

The clutch is really fussy.

Good Daily Driver. — Has a very tight steering radius. Makes a good daily driver. Might put some performance into it, although parts are a bit hard to find on the aftermarket side. So far, all the parts I've put into it are dirt cheap.

Great Car — performance did not lack at all it has a very powerful 2.0 four cylinder DOHC engine, it was very sturdily built, appearance isint the greatest but that is ok, it got great gas mileage, with little to no harsh maintainence, and this car as a stick and with good handling is a blast to drive!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

gas mileage, performance

Cons

cabin noise, burns oil

The Green Hornet — good buy for a small used car. compared to my old car it goes like stink. if only i had money to put into more performance parts. i have a cold air intake and performance chip on it...they do alot, especially since they bumped my fuel mileage from 30hwy up to 41!

Pros

Acceleration, Gas Mileage, Low cost of ownership, fun to drive

Cons

"Plastic car", brakes use up easily, head gasket problem with engine (oil leak)

The Saturn Sc2 Runs Like A Charm! — This car isn't my favorite, but it sure is close! The car has a small inline 4 engine but has one hell of an acceleration for such a small motor, especially when switched into performance mode (through a button next to the automatic shifter that makes the engine shift at higher RPMs even though it is automatic). I've had this car out drifting and doing donuts before and my friends cannot believe what it does for such a small economy car! The build quality isn't too great; I always joke how it is my plastic car and it's horrible in any winter weather. The exterior and interior include no frills unless you add them on, except for the raise-up headlights in the front, which always throw people for a loop (as long as you get one where they still work like me!). The gas mileage is INCREDIBLE, I can go a whole week on a tank of gas (around 200 miles) and fill up for about $12 with gas around a $1.85 average. Fun little car considering I only paid $2000 for it and it already has 118,000 on it but runs like a charm!

Pros

still good mpg, good handling

Cons

bad appearance, and a little small

Good Mpg 13 Y/o Saturn — Performance- manual, sticky first gear after a long drive. Decent acceleration. braking is fine. Build quality- has very few problems for its age. rear driver seatbelt is stuck, and rear passenger window doesn't work. sunroof does not work, either Appearance- gold paint with khaki fabric seats and black leather clutch and steering wheel. ceiling fabric in back seat was ripped a long time ago and is gradually peeling. has a spoiler Cost of Ownership- approx. 32 mpg, which is great for a 13 year old car. only real problem was emissions monitor comp was broken and had to be replaced last year Fun- not especially, but it is a manual, so if you like those, sure.

Fun Little Car To Drive, Great Gas Mileage But Its No Chick Magnet. — 5 speed manual 4 door sedan purchased for $500. Descently quick depending on the shifts. Topped mine at 121 mph and clocked 0-60- at 9.2 s. Very fun to drive only wish it would have been rear wheel drive. 35 mpg

Pros

Never gave a single problem inrs  the 9 years I had it

Cons

no power

I Would Buy Another One If They Still Made Them — This car was amazing. I put a new power steering pump in it when I ot it and that was the only thing to go on it other than regular wear and tear. It was suprisingly roomy when the seats were folded down. I used it to bring all the lumber and concrete home when I fenced in my back yard(only 2 trips).

Pros

manual transmission

Cons

horrible acceleration

Get A New Car — the ac works great, heating too, but engine is real bad and will clunk out soon. manual transmission makes it fun to drive but has a serious lack of acceleration. its a nice red color but blue is always best.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)
