The Good Is I'm Glad I Got It — The truck has beejn a real good truck besides the drivers door . the truck has 275000 miles now and runs like the day I BOUGHT IT. I retired the last truck after 375000 and the guy that bought it is still driving it today and I plan on going to 400000 on this one. taking care of it is the big job. the last big load was 129000 lbs. and I would not do that again. | ||

My Truck — The GMC Sierra's performance will actually suprise you. It has awesome acceleration, suprising handling, and not so good braking. It is a reliable vehicle; has 207500 and im have my first problem. It is fun to drive b/c you can keep it on street or kick into a field and have some fun. | ||

Great Truck, Been Through Hell And Back And Still Purrs Like A Kitten — The previous owner was using it as a work truck, and to tow things. It has had the transmission replaced, i put a flowmaster40 seris exhaust, I also had tint 5% tint put on both side and back window with the addition of a 6in. strip on the top of my front window. | ||

ProsAcceleration is great and it is dependable. ConsTransmission and head gasket have had to be replaced. Gas mileage is about 13 miles per gallon.

1996 Gmc Sierra...my Opinion. — Based upon my experience with this particular model, it's great to have as a "start-out" vehicle to adjust to a full sized truck. Despite the constant inconviences I've evperienced with it, when it's on a "good streak" the truck is awesome. | ||
