1996 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins Diesel — My Dad's 1996 dodge Ram 2500 cummins Diesel is a strong, rugged truck! bought new. Not much matenince except oil and regular check ups. We've been having trouble with tires. There getting old and they've been blowing out. The window on the driver's side's motor broke so it wouldn't roll down or up so we replaced it. Truck's been thru a lot and is almost onto the 200,000 mile mark on the gauge. We are also worried about the transmission because many people we no there trans. have been giving out on them. Road noise is very loud and vibration is bad too. Good truck!

Diesels Are Awesome!!!! — I Love the truck it is not anything fast but it will pull just about anythang you want to put behind it. THe handle sucks I am it is a 3/4 ton truck and breaking is really good I Love this body style but mine needs paint. THe truckis very low maintenance except fuel it gets around 16mpg in town. All around thothe truck is awsome to drive. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) | ||

ProsIt has four wheel drive and it has good suspension ConsYou have to push the gas pedal really far down just to get it up a hill not like in my dad's truck you barely have to touch the pedal.

I Freakin Love It — I like My truck because it has four wheel drive, my uncle bought it for me at a Shlenker auction sale in october. I also really like it because my sister doesn't have a vehicle so I can brag I have a car and you dont. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

I Love It — diesel performance, fuel economy, handlling is awesome, very roomy, has all of the power that I will ever need. cheap to insure, tags are inexpensive as well. tires are higher than hell though. I love the sound and the dirty looks i get when I smoke em out Primary Use: Family transportation |
