I Love My Blazer! — The only repairs needed on my 1996 Chevrolet Blazer LT (all-wheel-drive)in 100,000 miles, (besides normal maintenance), has been replacement of a fan clutch (once), a water pump (once) and a fuel pump (once)!!! That is it...!!!

Pros

Roomy, zoomy, easy on the Gas and the A*s, 246,000 miles and going strong!

Cons

Pricey maintenance at the dealership

Luv My Blazer — Vey solid. Never left me stranded. Push-button 4WD, leather, good power, not bad economy. But basic maintenance was about 1700/yr. Small outside, big inside, roomy backseat, leather interior. 2-inch Body Lift and bigger tires

I Love It, It Gets Me Wherever I Want To Go — Good Powe, four wheel drive works great but is a little stif Rattles a little but what do you expect from a 96, not the prettiest thing but it isnt ugly either, medium mileage, Its very fun to drive if you know how to, rolling isnt fun.

Pros

Its awesome in snow and offroad

Cons

It leaks oil all the time

35

Its Cheap — Overall this vehicle is one step from a junkyard, but it just keeps going and going with little maintenance. It also goes just about anywhere and never gets stuck.. Probably the best thing about it is that it can do flat spin style 4 wheel drive donuts.. outside that, its garbage!

Pros

never dies, a mans truck

Cons

its in ny

Plow Truck — this little six cylinder truck along with a six-inch plow took on mountains of snow. no matter how hard i tried, it wouldnt die. it somehow started everyday with 215 thousand miles on it and plowed through anything without dying

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Cons

Loud Fan noise

Great Suv With Good Gas Mileage Mixed With A Ton Of Power — My blazer was the best car i have eveer owned, I would have driven it until the wheels fell off, but sadly i went 4wheeling in it one day and the front axle went out. If it wouldnt have been for that i would still be driving the heck out of it.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

its all wheel drive

Cons

gas mileage sucks

35

Overall Its A Decent Vehicle — its not a bad vehicle. i like it more than my grand prix. its all wheel drive so the gas mileage sucks. it has a small dent in the back bumper but nothing major. everything works in it. a lot of the parts are new. its not bad.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros

Roomy and carpool

Cons

It can fit 5 people but its sucks in the back. 4 people only

35

Good Over All Car. Hasn't Broke Down And Can Fit In A Compact Spot — Handling in town and highway is great . Haven't 4wd Braking is good but it's picky on what brand of pads to use. (Noise) Great interior. Nice leather Power is good but its only a V6. Since it's a heavy SUV (5300lbs) would love a V8

Primary Use: Commuting to work
