One Bulletproof Tacoma — Our Tacoma has 175k miles and has (almost) seen the second kid through college. It's lived in NC, then Texas, then Colorado and now upstate NY. When the final cap and gown gets tossed the Tacoma will retire to the Hill Country of Texas as our hunting lease truck. Other than tires, brakes and a belt or two this has been the best car I have ever owned.

Its Awesome — it was the best vehicle ive had so far it just doesnt like trees ant to be up side down. it could out drive my friends cars in the mud. i would lke to own another toyota tacoma 4wd in the furtute Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

Get The 4wd With The 2.7l — There is not anything on this truck except what needs to be there. Plenty of room in the engine compartment. More than likely it will be getting a 360 Mopar. The cab is a little cramped for the 6' and over club. Right now though I get 28 mpg going to K Falls. I figure that's better than the 10 I was getting in my last truck. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Prosit has unbelievable torque for a little truck. Consthere are not enough aftermarket suspention parts(that i can find anyway)

Tacoma 3.4 Four Cam V6 Awesomeeee Truck — i love my truck it sounds like a v8 with my flowmaster. and after i installed the cold air intake and my 1' throttle body spacer the pick up i have is amazing. i do all the work on my truck my self and just recently got engine parts painted candy blue. | ||

Prostoyota quality, 24 mpg from a 2.7 liter 4 cyl. 5spd trans. nice interior, no wear really, overall excellent Consat freeway speeds, it needs a 6th gear, cuz its like your wringing its neck to get it to go that fast.

Great Performer And Bomb Proof — I've put over 200,000 miles on this truck (I gave away my '77 with over 300,000)and it's never had a major repair. Change the oil, lube it and it takes care of itself. I live in the mountains and drive it in all kinds of conditions (including serious offroad with a 4-wheel camper)and it has never let me down.
