Super Supra — Well this is the a fantastic car, very nice to drive, reliable and very, very quick, the omly problem with it is the cost to run it, tyres are expensive, parts are expensive, tax and insurance are expensive, it guzzles petrol, but its worth every penny!!

Toyota Supra 3.0 Twin Turbo — Best car i ever drove. Performance is amazing 326bhp gets the adrenaline flowing & puts a smile on your face, handling is great, firm & responsive to drive for a big car. Build quality was great, no rattles/squeaks, toight like a toiger. Aggeressive styling, still looks good today as it did in the 90's. Very heavy on the petrol is the only negative & its too hard to resist opening up the throttle. Only negative personally was how quiet as standard it is (cant hear the engine or exhaust in the car) Invest in an after market exhaust though & hear that 3.0 straight 6 roar.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

Classic Supra series, Twin turbo enhanced, T-top with many extras.  Low mileage (69,400), recent paint job & in excellent condition.  Automatic trans, tight suspension & Blitz 18"  wheels &  high performance brakes.

Cons

Rides rough on bumpy roads, low profile requires caution on dips, curbs, etc.  Straight pipe intake won't pass large city emission requirements, but runs clean.

Clear Title, 2jz-gte 6 Cyl. Engine — Very responsive, twin turbo, solid Aluminum engine. Front & rear stablizers provide safer handling as well as the full functioning spoiler. Braking is superior and the steering is tight. The cockpit seating is comfortable & let's you feel in control and safe. This car is fun to drive.

Pros

Excellent engine, gearbox, styling, power capabilities.  Reasonable fuel economy, but when you compare it to a large N/A V8, V10 or V12 with similar power you come to see just how excellent the fuel economy is!

Cons

Brakes (mushy and fade quickly), very impractical (rear seats are worthless and hatch is a joke).

Can Be Docile One Minute And Scary The Next! — The Supra is a classic. The styling is amazing for its age and still looks the part today. The engine is superb, smooth, tough as nails, and can make crazy power outputs with a few relatively minor modifications. Toyota certainly knew what they were doing when they built this car and didn't cut any corners. Although by today's standards, the interior is a bit dated and very cramped, however keeping in mind the first of these were sold in 1993, that can be overlooked. The sequentially twin-turbocharged engine is one of the most revered in the aftermarket tuning world and for good reason. It's possible to run the turbos in sequential mode or converted to TTC (True Twin Conversion) mode with a 5 minute mod, and each creates a totally different driving experience: sequential for huge all-round torque and TTC for the sudden thump back in your seat when the boost hits HARD at 3000 rpm! The gearbox is slightly too heavy, but compared with other cars making this sort of power it's doing very well. It's a bit clunky but accurate. Certainly a lot better than a lot of other modern-day car's gearboxes with similar torque handling capabilities. Fitted with triple synchros on first and second gear, double synchros on third and fourth and single synchros on fifth and sixth, clean shifts are usually no problem. My particular car is fitted with an HKS lightened flywheel and twin-plate clutch which is very, very agressive in its takeup and is stupidly noisy, but it all means performance to me. It will happily handle 700hp and allows lightning fast shifts with the lightened flywheel. Compared to the stock clutch, it has about 30% less pedal weight and the takeup length is no more than 1cm. With a bit of practise, this clutch can be driven almost as smoothly as a stocker, but requires rev-matching on both down- and up-shifts to maintain this smoothness. My car is also fitted with an Apexi GT-Spec catback exhaust (3.75" or 95mm internal diameter) with various other parts and although it's a lot louder than a stock, it sounds awesome, especially when you're on-boost with a few revs on board. People walking on the side of the road in the same direction actually turn around to see what's coming their way! I have a pile of other mods that were on the car when I bought it, such as a Top Secret fibreglass bonnet, 18 x 9.0 and 18 x 10.0 "Intensive Hunk" (Evolution) wheels with 255 and 285 tyres respectively, HKS intercooler, HKS SSQV blow-off valve, 1000cc injectors, front/rear TRD/Greddy strut braces, Sard pod air filter, TRD replica carbon fibre spoiler, HKS springs with stock Bilstein (excellent!) shocks, Apexi PowerFC, Trust/Greddy gauges, Blitz SBC-id III boost controller and numerous other things. At the moment it's making 263.5 rwkw (350 rwhp) on a Dyno Dynamics dyno in shootout mode @ 18 psi. It's still responding to more boost (made over 270rwkw on 19 psi) but due to the ceramic turbine wheels that tend to explode at high boost levels, I've had to limit power for now. I'll probably put the turbos back into sequential mode for a while until I get used to the power, then possibly move up to an HKS T04Z or Garrett GT35R turbo and go for 350-400 rwkw. Easily attainable with the mods I have now - basically only need the turbos and a few other bits and pieces, but considering that the car already spins the rears in 3rd, I don't need any more power for now :) Overall, I love the car and hope to keep it for many years, but I know that eventually the time will come to move on. I'll only do this when I get sick of the shape (unlikely) or driving the car (even more unlikely). Once I'm done with it, it will be one very, very fast machine capable of taking on cars costing many times the money. In fact, it already is!

Greatest Toyota Car Ever Made. — Wonderfully reliable and extremely powerful. Very fast car right off the floor and a lot of fun to modify to get more power. Never been happier with any other car and so fun to drive I don't have to have a radio to help pass the miles.

Great All Rounder - Drag, Curcuit (occational Drift If You Want To Remove Weight) — All round, 9/10 Car. One of Toyota's best ever production performace car. And will forever be known as the underdog and one of the most powerful japanese import cars ever created. Also known as one of japans muscel cars (as well as the 350 & 370 Z). Due to its 3L inline 6. Downside, quite heavy & slightly small interior. Goodside, great acceleration, good response, great build quality, cockpit like interior and nice, light steering and handling. Needs only slight modification to truely perform to its potential and not to be underestimated. Bit hard to explain it unless your actually in it.

Buy One If You Love Your Cars — Best car made by far, power, styling, build quality and a classic, everyone knows what a supra is, but they are under estimated cars. For years they won the jtcc and the only reason the do not now is the fact that production of the mkiv supra ended.

Its A Collectible — i was persuaded to paint it this wild color...i wish i would have gone with black. my g pa drives a 97 automatic supra, and in comparison, i enjoy driving my 5 speed better. all the parts are original; no modifications. over 150,000 miles.

The Legend Of Street Racing - The Supra — This car is the greatest car for street racing. They are extremely rare as you can't find a running Supra. This has all the performance, looks, style, confort and raw power any racing driver could ever want from a car. That's what made it a legend to street racing.
