ProsIts fun to drive ConsIts slow

I Love It — dislike the lack of power. Like the 4 wheel drive. Its fun to drive. It looks aggressive lifted. It can go further on gas and in the mud then must of the big boys. I just look good driving it. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

Great Running Little Truck, Almost Indestructable — If you're in the market for a small, reliable pickup that can haul some furniture and still sip on gas, this would be it. The Toyota 4 cylinder is surprisingly powerful and can walk circles around its competitor's engines. The interior is simple, but effective and has plenty of room, even for someone over 6 feet tall. the ride is kinda rough due to the suspension having alot of bounce to it, its something you can get used to and installing new shocks doesn't make it go away. The body is made from cheap steel, so expect some rust, especially around the bed. As for the engine and transmission, unbelievable! It will take a beating and keep on licking... Even the most ignorant person with no mechanical knowledge can get the 4 cylinder past 200K miles. With proper maintaince that mileage could easily be doubled. The Truck was built to last, well, at least the powertrain was. The body might fall off from rust, but it will still be running! |
