Cons

poor engine performance, tight room in the back.

Awsome Car — I think my car is great! I will admit there are some things I don't like, for instance the power (even though it is a V6) really drags. Also there really is not enough leg room in the back seats, great for small people, but not good for adults. Other than that though, it is a great car.

I Like It When Its Out Of The Shop — the 4-runner is a good vehicle. my only problem so far is the previous owner didnt pack the bearings and he abused it off road. the result is a 750 dollar repair to the hubs, (which toyota doesnt make anymore.) bearings and the stabilizer shock. overall it would be a great vehicle if you know how to work on it.

My First Car. — I liked that it has a large cargo capacity, that it can drive through any kind of weather, the brakes work well, the handling is good. Overall it was a good first car.. but it's time for me to move on. =[

A real tailgate! Running boards are great for the kids.

Cons

Fuel economy wasn't great.

Great Truck! — The forerunner was a great riding SUV with excellent 4WD. The retracting rear window was an amazing feature. The sunroof also added to the awesomeness of the vehicle. I miss this truck dearly. If I hadn't needed the money I would have owned that thing till it rusted.

Pros

Great versatility and utility.

Cons

The fuel economy (I am getting 17- 20 mpg) is poor given current fuel costs and that it is not 4wd.

An Average Rig — Acceleration is not going to excite you, but it works hard and has a lot of usable space. It's a Toyota so it is reliable and tough. handles like a truck. I don't really understand why it has as much clearance as it does for being only 2wd, which doesn't really matter except it makes me wish it were!

Great For Anything But Gas Mileage And Acceleration — There was little to no acceleration on the 1995 Toyota 4Runner. It is a V6 with great low end power but no street acceleration. The gas mileage was pretty bad at about 12 mpg. However, THIS THING NEVER GETS STUCK. I have been through some crazy mud/sand/woods/everything with this car and it easily defeats any other stock SUV I have ever seen. It always felt incredibly safe on the road. I got into one accident in it and it smashed the trunk of a chevy sedan and barely even dented my front bumper. This was my first car and it was awesome for me.

4-runner's Are Great — This is the best vehicle that i own. It is a limited edition, so it's got all the options. Power doors and locks, cruise, cd changer, sun roof, etc. Not the best handling in deep water ruts on highway, but i thinks that may be the tires. Other than that its good.

I Still Miss It And I Will Have Another One Someday — it was my first car.it was wonderful! we all miss it. it wasnt all that powerful but we could fit alot of ppl in it. It wasnt very clean but it was a barn car. it had a tailgate which was wonderful for sitting on while eating ice cream. it never had any problems, except a broken anteanna motor. we made it fun... by skipping road closed signs.

It's A Family Car And Good With Commuting Boats, Etc. — It's an awesome car. It's very dependable and built very solid. I recently repainted it midnight black and it's trimmed in chrome. I wouldn't trade it for nothing in the world. They are luxury cars so you really have to keep up the maintance.
