Cons

Best Car Mercedes Made, Hands Down. — Owned by my uncle this thing is a beast. Automatic transmission with the choice of manual for aggressive driving. This thing even has a traction control off button. The ride is amazing too, like riding in a cloud. I'm 6'4" and when I sit in this car with the seat all the way back I can barely reach the pedals, and there is still room for people behind me to sit.

Pros

This car rides like a dream!  The power, looks, and style are impeccable!  It handles well, has always been reliable, and has been kept in the garage since purchased.  Plenty of leg room and trunk space!  Clean! One female owner! Low mileage! (Less than 10,000 miles per year!) Safe car to drive!

Cons

Minor exterior scratches, small rust area in back.  AC needs repair.

Wonderful Family Car, Ride In Style!!! — There are no real dislikes on this car. I actually never planned to sell it, but bought a more recent model last month. Now unfortunately we are out of garage space! :o) This is a wonderfully reliable family vehicle! Ride in style!!!

If You Have The Money For It, Buy It. Its Amazing And Never Will Cease To Amaze You. — Amazing ride, great ergonomics, exceptional fuel mileage for a 12 cylinder engine, superior factory sound system that comes stock with four subwoofers, timeless lines and world reknowned quality comes with the flagship S600. Theres just not anyother vehicle in its class.

What A Ride!! — I bought the car used, 85,000 mi) and i have loved it from day one. The transmission needed an immediate rebuild and the air conditioner got me six months later. i fixed the problems and kept driving the car. The 6 cylinder engine is a beauty.

Like To Keep But Too Much Money To Upkeep. Nickel And Dime To Poor House. — performance is very good considering the engine size and weight. nice smooth engine. quality is also excellent. very complex car which is its weakness. looks is conservative to current trends but i like it looks elegant.cost of ownership is very expensive even with independent shops. costly fun toy. if one can remove the non essentials, this car is a keeper

My Experience — Massive, Gorgeous, Exotic, Superb German car, with 5.0 L engine, roaring in the streets with a comfort of a king size Sofa. Engine runs like clock very smooth and performance is wonderful. it gives you a chance to feel like godfathers!

Pros

Smooth and powerful V8. Boot size. Gadgets. Second hand price is ridiculously cheap now for a car which used to worth in excess of £ 70 000 when new..

Cons

Fuel consumption...:o)...Price of spare parts. Air cond is not the best I have ever seen.

Ultra Comfortable, Lot Of Room, Interesting Toy For The Money — Not much too say again against that one. It is like being sat in a living room and driving a very smooth V8. Top german quality.Super interior. Engine goes for ever. Etc.

Built Like A Tank, Handles Like A Car Half The Size, Comfort Of Personal Armchair — This is a very well built car. I bought it with 70k km on the meter in Sept 07. Quiet, supercomfortable (I am 6'6" mostly legs and arms), overall handles like a dream with a bit of rolling when corners are taken a bit faster, fuel consumption depends on driving. Driven with some pushing of the pedal 7.5L/100km in hilly countryside, driven sensibly 10L/100km - you can get better mileage in flat country. Not bad for a this engine moving over 4000lbs. Driven a Lexus L430, 2001. Has more gadgets, but the Merc drive is nicer, more comfortable, and when you get in, the feel is more luxurious and that is for a car 6 years younger.
