How Quickly It Becomes One Of Your Proze Posessions And The Feeling You Cant Live Without It. — This car floats on the interstate at 70mph/ 2500RPM like you're flying. Parallel park it and watch people as they walk by: as many looks as any car in front or behind. Do not drive this car (especially a red x tan one) if you cant live with attention. Plenty of power and 20-plus MPG. Few cars have this much panache at 15-plus years. Imagine when it's 30. This is what $70,000 bought in 1995. Think Elizabeth Taylor at 45.

If Your Fortunate Enough To Find An E320 Convertible For Sale, Buy It! — Still one of the gratest looking automobiles on the road. Built to last with minimal problems. A comfortable, solid, gem of a ride. Only 3 years in production makes the last 1995, E320 a modern classic & a joy to own.

The Best Car Ever Built. Our Family Will Continue To Use These Cars For Years To Come. — My family has owned 1992, 1994, and 1995 400E and E420s. The new E-Klasse's do not compare to the W123/W124 platform. Great ride, great handling, incredible build quality, each car managed over 300 000kms with ease, only replaced by a newer version of the car.

Pros

Its one of the best cars ever built!!!

Cons

If you are having lots of cash...

Although Its Quite Old, Its Still A Merc!! — It's performance is indeed good. The l6 engine can go from 0-60mph in just 8sec. It can produce 220PS and 310Nm of torque. We have also driven the car to a speed of 140mph and it still feels smooth. The build quality on the other hand is quite impressive too. The car is beautiful. The fuel consumption likewise is not as heavy as my Volvo 240. The car is seriously fun to drive.

E300 Diesel — the OM606 in the E300 N/A is a very solid motor, a little on the loud side compared to some other diesel Mercedes we have in the garage, but over all a 9/10 with performance being its only downside. I see 35+mpg hwy on a regular basis... much better than I had expected, even for a diesel

Very Solid Beautiful Convertible - Safest On The Road — I have now owned two of these Mercedes E 320 Convertibles - best Convertible I know of - solid, built like a tank, beautiful styling and durability. The only weak point I know of is the engine wiring harness - mine had to be replaced after 93,000 miles and this part was not what i expect from Mercedes quality - otherwise I think any newer model like the CLK can't touch the E 320

E420 1995 Mercedes — Performance & handling is excellent; On the freeway I get 25 miles to the gallon; Problem is cost of ownership; The parts are very expensive, emission parts such as the Throtle Actuator is $1,200 new that does not include the cost of labor; so you need to shop on the internet for one that is rebuilt or used and they all go out in this model. The radiators go out on this car and again the fan clutch is an expensive item. They never made replacement ignition wire sets for this model, do not take it to a dealer the wiring alone at the dealer is about $700 not including labor and plugs; get the after market wiring for about $300(Bosch); Break jobs are very expensive on this model; electrical issues are fairly common such as the attenna mast or relay switch in the dash along with fuses. As the car gets older you need to adjust the shift linkage (bushing). If you have a big pocket book to keep the car up this car is great otherwise look for something else.

Very Fun Car — Really a sharp ride, good looking, easy to drive and fun to explore, especially on a nice day with the top down. This is pure top-down convertible mania, in a truly Classic Automobile. This is my hobby and life's project to keep it a really nice and appreciated car.
