ProsMPG, cheap to maintain, load furniture for friends moving, sit up high, impossible to get a speeding ticket. ConsYou see them everywhere, not stellar enough to park in the valet on a hot date.

When This One Dies, I'll Get Another One. — I simply enjoy the fact that you are able to sit upright, get good MPG, throw stuff in the back, and it keeps on ticking. The one downfall is it's not the sexiest thing out there to take someone on a date. Primary Use: Commuting to work

Love It. — I bought this truck brand new. It has NEVER given me a problem and have never had anything major go wrong with it. The AC stopped working on it after I let it sit for about 2 years when I was away. But it started right up after charging it up. It's a great little truck for the money. A little tight to get in and out of the extended cab with the two door model. The 96 has the auxilary door which may have provided a little better access.

If You Find One That Has Been Taken Care Of Dont Let It Go — it was a five speed so had great acceleration and had a turbo and when i hit my power gear it was over. great breaks failed me once. and had great handling never lost control.it never needed repairs it never squeaked or made any weird noises.a few scratches but what truck dont have them. the inside was very well took care of. had a dale sr. and rebel flag bandana. had great gas mileage 28-30 miles per gallon always took care of it and had oil changes it was a great mudding truck lol Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

I Am Surprised People Actually Buy These Things. — I was generally surprised at how horrible the Ranger I used to drive at work was. Seeing as Mazda had a great deal in its conception, i guess i expected much more. The V6 engine was a joke, for the first few days I drove the truck I believed it to be a 4 cylinder, the grunt expected from a "larger" engine just wasn't there.it had the torque of a 4 cylinder and the unbalanced top end of a normal V6, thats not a good thing... The interior was the worst part of all, 9 hours in this truck and i felt like my back was splitting in two, the bench seat wears out quickly, putting the driver in a hole that misaligns your spine. the dash is huge and takes up any legroom a tall person might want to have, leaving you feeling very cramped.

The Best City Truck! — Great city truck. A little short on power, with the 4 cyl. but gets great gas millage and will get the job done! We (my son and I) just replaced the front brake pads at 99350 miles, now that is getting your moneys worth. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Get It Fun To Drive Round. — Great truck to drive. Lasts a long time with little need for repair. The manual is a lot of fun and the clutch is really nice. You may want to install new speakers and radio because the stock ones are not the greatest. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Small Truck Thats Dependable — performance it has very little acceleration and brakeing is decent for a truck handling is tighter for my truck cuz its lower than a ful size truck. i have not had the truck for to long to tell what kinda repairs it will need but i have heard that these little rangers last along time. interior is not to bad i wish there was a tach inside and the old rangers seats where switched out for ford tempo seats which are much more comfortable. exterior is pretty good. the car just needs more acceleration and more go Primary Use: Commuting to work

Best Vech I Have Ever Owned — I have had this truck for 7 years. I have been all over the country in it. I bought this truck with 52,000 miles org. I'm now at 240,000 and IT WON"T DIE!!! runs like a champ. I wish it would die so I have a good excuse to get something a little newer. Primary Use: Commuting to work
