Overall This Truck Is My Friend !! — I love the performance; Accelerates quickly,pulls like a mule(diesel), strong reliable brakes,handles well for a truck ! Build quality; well Ford still build better than Chevy's plastic toy trucks, but this truck could have been stronger in the bed, bumpers, & interior trim is flimsy.One major annoyance is fords twin I beam front axle__ It causes extreme tire wear ! Styling; I personally like the looks of this truck over GM's, Though Dodge is more stylish & heavier built, it costs more ! Biggest cost issues on this truck have been,front tires,diesel fuel(13-14 mpg), and oil/filters, 11 qt's oil,pricey filters etc. Fun Factor? it's a truck, you either love Em or hate Em ! Primary Use: Family transportation

Ford Pickups Dominate — I love my pickup. It can pull like an ox. It gets great fuel mileage. The box is a little beat up from use but i still think it is a sexy pickup. I love having a diesel pickup, the only thing i dont like is the fact that it is so hard to start in the winter. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) | ||

The Greatest Truck I've Had Since My Last One. — Great Power I could pull a house off it's foundation with this truck. Never have any problems with it even though Alaska can get down to Minus 50+. Has enough room to move every single one of my lazy friends to their new apartments. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

I Love It — this truck is fast and handles like a champ with its stiff suspension plus it sounds great with the flowmaster muffler. i replaced the motor and and some suspension parts and other common wear and tear items. the truck has a small amount of rot behind the driver side front wheel and just bubbles over both rear wheels. but it still looks sharp with its clean red paint. the gas mileage isnt the best but for a 460cubic inch motor i cant complain. maintenance isnt as bad as i would have expected for a 14 year old truck. and this truck is just a blast to tear around town and through the woods with. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||
