Cons

it's a dodge

Minivan, Mega Fun — The van has a 3.0 Liter V6 with about 145 HP to the wheels. Although the van was made in 1995, it is still running strong. It has about 215,000 miles on it and leaks a little oil, but still can get up and go if needed. I love loading the van up with friends and driving around all day, and it's a good car to get from point A to B.

Pros

Fair fuel economy, as fun as a mini van can be

Cons

Nivomat suspension parts are getting scarse

Respect The Aging Purple Dinosaur. — Overall pretty reliable for the lesser of the Detroit 3. One of the last minivans to have a little bit of style, until the newest generation. Pickup is shocking for a soccer mom's car, governor is set at 95mph but could probably do 100 on a flat enough road. Was the last year to not use an independent suspension so will never have that "floating" feeling that I like.

Very roomy and versatile.  Seats come  out to make a cargo van.

Cons

Automatic transmission could be a problem.

Have Only Had Since 9/2010. Makes An Excellent Car For My House Painting Business. — In the past 7 months since I purchased this car, it's needed some minor brake work, new fuel pump and battery. Now it has a high idle problem that I HOPE isn't related to the transmission! Has 150,000 miles on it, and previous had a rebuilt transmission installed at AAMCO three years ago. Otherwise, I like the look and handling of the car.

Pros

Reliable, sturdy, powerful, huge

Cons

Chrysler built it so things like the hood release broke frequently, the AC went after 100k miles

My Childhood — It was a van. It was big, heavy, top heavy, and got terrible mileage. It never let me down though. It had power (I could smoke the tires), it never lacked acceleration, and it always had space. Great car, lasted a long time, we only got rid of it because we couldn't afford it any more. It's too bad too.

Pros

It's reliable and you can haul your friends around in it.

Cons

It's falling apart! Watch out for the flying parts when you're driving down the road near us.

45

It's All Right. — Well...it's reliable. That's about it. The radio keeps blowing out, the rear passenger door falls off if you open the door too far, but other than that it's good.OH! And the gas pedal's extremely warn...so you never know just how far to push it to accelerate a little. We always end up flying. I'm poetic, the thinger told me so.

1995 Dodge Caravan 3.5l V6 — WHAT I HATE: 1. The heater sucks 2. No A.C. 3. The valves stick 4. Trunk panels rattle 5. The body is rusting 6. Water leaks into the footwell sometimes 7. It leaks oil WHAT I LOVE: 1. It has the ORIGINAL transmission!
