1995 Bmw 325i Review — Fun to drive, feels like a race car. Costly to own, especially if it breaks. Really Great gas mileage. Fast on the freeway. My brake lights went out recently and mysteriously, don't know how much that will cost to fix..

Cons

Bmw 328i 193hp 285nm — Its a BMW whats not too like. I installed the M52 2.8i engine insted of the M50 2.5i very nice upgrade and as a bonus the M50 is just the perfect engine for turbo/supercharger so that's the next step. But the 2.8i is alot more smooth and alot quicker so it will do for now :-)

Bmw — Just put in a s52 motor great performance and suprising good on gas BMW has always been known as building a drivers car and this one is no disapointment. I have changed a few things and love the way it looks. With the new motor is is alot of fun to drive.

Pros

Great Handling , comfortable, reliable

Cons

Not as fast as 325i despite having the same size engine(cc)

Good Compromise: Performance Without Big Expense — After having a 1988 325i for a few years I got a 1996 323Ci which was only 5 years old when I got it , I've had no serious problems with this car since. I noticed how much better the handling was than the old 325, the brakes were sharper too. However the acceleration did not match that of the 325, AFAIK the 323i has a smaller engine block despite having same cc (2498) as the 325

Pros

handling

Cons

It has some oxidation on the roof so I'd like to get a pain job done some day.

Best Car I've Owned Thus Far — I got this car on craigslist early 2008 and have replaces some things. (seats, boots, pedals, shift knob, floor mats, etc.) I haven't done any performance upgrades to it yet besides a K&N filter but I'd really like to supercharge it eventually.

Good performance for the price, well built, good size.

Cons

Expensive on parts when it goes wrong, getting robbed on Tax and Fuel prices.

German Engineering And It's Now A Teenager. — As a replacement for the peugeot, this is a great car. It only cost £990, which is incredable considering the engine size. It accelerates and handles very well for a car of it's size. And although it doesn't handle as well as the peugeot, it's much better built with true German common sence and engineering. Being rear-wheel drive, it is also more fun to drive, esspecially in rain or icy conditions. Boot space is good being a saloon, and even though I really wanted the 2 door version, this 4 door is still very good, and more pratical, even if it doesn't look as good. The main thing right now is, the Peugeot was modified a bit, so it stood out. At the moment, the BMW is totally standard in appearance, so it blends in rather than stands out. I hope to work on this in the future.
