Pros

North South engine placement, option for a 6spd manual transmission, standard luxury features that are now being added into today's cars (leather power heated seats, power moonroof, heated power mirrors, rear windows go down on the coupe, power tilt/telescope steering wheel, suction doors). Looks as if you can buy one new today, never looks old. You can also add more luxury if you get stuff from Japan like a Navigation console (if you can find one) and for the sedans you can get a rear seat A/C and reclining seats. Yes you read that right

Cons

Many overheating issues in more than one way, just gotta keep the maintenance up to date. The only other negative is that they stopped maknig the G2 Legend body style, even though the Legend is now called the Acura RL

95

95 Acura Legend Ls Coupe Black On Black Automatic — Maybe I'm biased but its definetly one of the best I've owned. Power is great, rides and handles good for a 4000lb car. Expensive to maintain but good cruising car for around town or highway jaunts. A bit hard over bumps on the GS wheels (16") or anything larger but if you can get the stock 15" wheels they absorb bumps without problems when using factory spec tires. At times you don't even know the car is on or if your in motion. The V6 230HP Type II engine is a blast, though I have never driven the base Type I engine. The 94-95 model years are the most sought after due to many features becoming standard and small body revisions to freshen the car up. These cars were worth $35-$42 large when new. For 09 some mint well taken care of Legends can still fetch in the 5 digit range, specially if the mileage is below 100k, to one in decent condition startin around $3000. If you're looking to buy one be sure to check for coolant leaks, over heating issues, or any color smoke coming out the exhaust.

Pros

It looks great and is really quick.

Cons

The engine overheats alot.

Nice Car! — The engine overheated alot but i still liked it. The car is pretty quick, too. It also doesn't look bad. It has decent handling but still really fun to drive. Most acura legend owners are happy to have this car.

Pros

it's got a great kick and it's a handling beast

Cons

it breaks kinda easily but i also drive it hard

Great Car But Make Sure U Keep The Tranny In Great Shape — the car has a great kick and it's a handling beast but it often needs tranny work the car is extremely fun to drive even with a messed up tranny and it's pretty easy to maintain but i would def get a manual tranny with this beast

Buy One! — Fun car to chuck in the corners. Enjoyable. Pretty quick even though it doesnt look like it is. Doesnt need the recomended 91 octane anymore. Brakes fade after a while so be careful. For a car that sits out side all the time this thing still ticks and rocks. To me its a fine wine, gets better with age

Styling, handling, comfort and features are all top notch.  Hard to believe this vehicle is 18 years old (as of 2013).

Cons

Its a V6 so can't expect better mpg.

Legend Isn't Just A Name — Fun to drive. So much fun that you take road trips even when gas goes over $5 gal. Very reliable; engine is bulletproof. Interior is very luxurious especially when you realize that it was built in1995. Overall a very solid vehicle.

Pros

Exterior design way ahead of its time, tasteful interior with plenty of luxury amenities, sound system

Cons

FWD, less than stellar fuel economy and eats premium

75

Old, Heavy, Thirsty, Yet So D — The greatest example of the then budding Acura brand. A timeless Masterpiece. A vehicle that is more than 10 years old and still manages to kick ass in the present day. Not to mention cheap, reliable, and looks damn sweet with some rims.

Pros

Low to the ground, quick for  being a decade old.

Cons

instrument cluster and ac/heat control outdated and slim in features.

75

Smooth Lines With A Comfortable Interior And Fun To Drive. — A little acceleration lag from start to GO, 60 around 6 i believe with the Type2 motor and tranny.

Pros

Build, Paint, Smoothness

Cons

Gas Mileage and aging leather

65

Acura Legend, The Japanese Cadillac — Acceleration is great for the weight and horsepower and the build is excellent. We never have mechanical problems. Gas mileage is less than satisfactory but the overall cost of ownership is relatively low. The car can be fun to drive with a low center of gravity and wide wheels.

Pros

Good pick-up, nice handling, and comfortable.

Cons

Weak stock sound system, takes a while to warm up in the winter, handles poorly in snow because of weight shift and body roll.

This Car Is Worth Buying For The Right Price. — The Legend had decent power, braking, and handling for the size of the car. The interior trim was a bit flimsy, but the seats were extremely comfortable. The styling of the car was sporty, smooth, and clean. It could be tricked out, or used as a daily driver by anyone for anything. The gas mileage could have been a bit better, but i also have a heavy foot. Maintaining the car isn't too costly. You just have to keep up on everything and make sure it stays on schedule. Driving a Legend was fun, relaxing, comfortable, and at times.. a real thrill.
