Overall, Its A Pretty Good Car. — Not a particularly exciting car to drive, but very reliable and great on gas (avg of 34 mpg). I Found out the hard way it's pretty darn safe in an accident too, which I wouldn't have expected given it's appearance. I was in a head on collision going 35mph and walked away with only minor injuries from the airbags. It was still running fine until its unfortunate demise in that accident.I have had to do a good number of repairs to it, though not devastatingly major ones. It had reoccurring exhaust system problems, but everything else was what you'd expect to have to replace in a 16 year old car. All in all I probably put 4,000 - 5,000 into a car that was super cheap to buy and lasted me 6 years (and probably would've lasted me at least a few more). For a first car, it was pretty great. I would recommend it to a teenager, student, or anyone who's looking to save money and have a reliable car. Primary Use: Commuting to work

1994 Yota — This was a decent car. It ran great, I put very little money into this car for maintenance cost. Even after we had an accident with the car it ran just as good as it did before the accident. If You Need A First Car, The Corolla Is A Good Choice — Quite the reliable car, and with a 5spd manual it's fun to drive. Could have used some more power, but overall I was never disappointed with this vehicle. Excellent daily driver, good looks, extremely reliable and easy on the pockets when maintenance time comes. If This Car Were An Autobot It Would Be Optimus Prime! — Well my car has approximately 334,000 miles and I've literally changed the oil about once every 50K whether it needed it or not! Not kidding folks I treat my vehicles like crap. I took the car into a repair shot today because it wasn't starting during the rain and paid $100.00 for a new distributor cap. That's the FIRST time it's been in for anything (including oil changes) in the last 3 years. Doesn't anything else need to be said about a car that can stand up to that kind of abuse and still be dependable? Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Something Beautiful Is Comiing Out Slowly! ;) — Acceleration, or may I say the engine power output is not so good due to the engine condition since it's 18 years old! Also because of the fuel we use, called CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) which decreases the engine power. Braking is good with all the stock equipments. I just changed the stock suspension to KYB Excel-G to get better comfort and handling. Needs a lot of repairs. Specially the body paint and some engine repairs. The exterior and interior appearance is not good yet. But I'm working on it and hope to make the best out of it. | ||

Good Look And Performance For Th N/a Fans Out There — good performance with the 4age 20v silvertop and lightened flywheel. fun to drive with the sports suspension (toms struts with adjustable damper in rear). far from factory and a real beast off the line (once you get traction) really impressed Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Buy One You Wont Be Dissapointed — Extremely reliable and well built. It wasnt intended for performance but its relatively quick. Handling is superb handles corners with ease. Very fun to drive and has a sporty look for being a sedan. Really roomy for its size. Im over 6 foot and i am pretty comfy and not scrunched. Braking is excellent on this car. I can stop on a dime and leave some change lol. Cost of ownership is stupid low and requires only normal maintenance. Average milage is about 32mpg and i have gotten as high as 37 | ||

Would Recommend It 9/10 — this is a nice car to drive , good power in it looks sporty and takes are the the carina in terms of power , the 1.9 diesel is a strong car , lovely to drive , very light on diesel . good power steering but so off the triming was not so good specially on dirt tracks , this car is a little bit light but over all is a lovely car Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |
