Best Car I've Ever Had! — I drove this to work every day. It was awesome! This is the best handling car I've ever owned (better than my old '82 Corvette and '01 Mustang GT). The 968 replaced the 944 and is the last of the front engine Porsche sports cars-it was replaced by the Boxster. If you don't mind paying for the quality you get, then Porsche is the way to go. Plenty of trunk space, no back seat room at all, outstanding ride. Primary Use: Commuting to work |

The Most Underrated Porsche Of All Time. Looks, Power, Handling, Rarity - It Has It All! — I've owned this car for almost ten years, put over 100K miles on it and am still not tired of it! With over 150K miles on it now, it still drives like new - no slop in the steering, shift linkage, suspension. A rock solid ride with amazing performance. Has to be the all-time greatest 4-cylinder, normally aspirated engine ever produced and it has a great sound. Real throaty. The 6-speed manual is the only way to go for this car. The 4-speed Tiptronic is a real dog by comparison. |
