Because it cheap and easy to maintain

Cons

Everyone laughs at you

Drive Cause You Have To — Economy car based on the Chevrolet Citation. Build quality is poor. Performance is borderline. Low 30s MPG with 2.2L 4cyl. Its reliable a-b transportation, just wont die. Seating for 6 adults with a big trunk for a small car. It is easy to maintain and parts when needed are cheap. Rides like a cloud and handles like a yacht.

Love This Car — I LOVE my car. the acceleration is a bit slow, but the brakes are good, it rides smoothly. This is just a amazing car. As long as you keep up paint and interior it looks amazing. My friends are all jealous because its just a amazing ccar

Fantastic — bought it used in 02. only problem is the starter tends to lock up and not engage unless i run the shifter up and down and play with the alarm toggler. also the previous owner didnt take the best of car with it so i decided to to rebuild it from top to bottom. otherwise now it runs just fine. the only downside if you could call it that is the weight of the vehicle in comparison to other newer cars. however its weight plays no factor on gas milage. plenty of room and it provides more protection in case of accident than the lighter cheaper built vehicles of today.

It's The Beast — I love this car. I bought it off of one my mom's friends from work. It's a light blue color (a few rust spots but still amazing). it cost about 1500 to buy. It is the best car to drive. it's got a sound system hooked up to it and everything.

Although It's Definitely Not A Head Turner, But It Well Worth The Money I Spend ($8700 In 97) — This car is not bad after all... who would think an 90s American car can go the distance, currently @ 183K miles. original engine, transmission, radiator,... only issue I had so far was water pump (twice), generator, power window (both of them went out 5 years ago, and I replaced my self for $100), and most recently the AC unit is not cold. All and all, it had been very reliable - which shocked the heck out of everyone include myself because I hardly take care the car asides from changing oil and filter every 3K to 4K miles religiously. PS, I bought this car used when it was 3 years old with 30K on it.

I Love My Car — the stereo system pounds the hell out my car and the tinted windows make it so private. it has good gas mileage and runs good for an old car. Its fun to drive and doesnt cost much for repairs. Overall i really love my car.

Ok — This car was ok, I got it late in years and it was well over 100,000 miles. I wouldn't buy one these days. It was like driving a boat. The passenger window didn't work, radio was bad and it smelled.
