Mercedes-Benz dropped the SL300 in the 1994 model year, replacing it with the slightly more powerful SL320 and its 3.2 liter, six cylinder engine. The car had the same 228 horsepower as the SL300, but torque output grew, giving better handling and performance to delighted owners.
Bose stereo equipment was added as standard equipment to all SL-Class cars, including this two-passenger roadster.
