1994 Corvette Hardtop Convertible — I bought a 1994 convertible with 89k, before 100k I replaced my waterpump $125 AUTOZONE, and I also had the opti-spark at the dealership part/labor $925. And of course to be super anal I replace all the hoses for less than $200 myself. Starter $125 i installed less than 20 min. I have enjoyed my car for about 5 years and I love it and get a rush just looking at it, and well i won't tell you what happens when i drive. When you buy look it over good, you will notice the good ones from them junk. Because a true Corvette lover will be able to tell you everything about the car from the first day he/she bought it. When you run a check on the VIN only trust the DMV records but look (physically) at the car for hidden damage. Because ALL shops DO NOT report damage. o yea insurance is something not to forget cause a Corvette thats 10 years or older cost more than a newer one for full coverage, so do some shopping take your time....Support your local Corvette Clubs Owner for 5 years, 0 months Miles Driven per Year:5,000

I Love This Car — fast car, it's a corvette! you either get it or you don't i have had corvettes all my life. when i did not have one i was not very happy blah blah blah this one is a real treat to drive but my wife hates it i suppose because it makes me happy Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsThis is a very nice car for cruising with the top down and the wind blowing in your hair. ConsPlan on traveling light and not packing much gear to take along.

Nostalgia Delight — Reminds me of our C2 Glen Green roadster with the 327 CI 365 HP 4-speed with white leather seats and accented interior. Takes us back to 1965 and our dating years. Lots of fun to drive and to share with others. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

Great Performance,handling & Curb Appeal — i've owned 3 corvettes previous to the purchase of my 1994 convertible after owning 2-1984 & 1-1999 corvette hardtop i was looking for a drop top for a while thinking porsche or mercedes might be good for a change but after numerous test drives i have to say that none of these "high end" sports cars don't even come close to the corvette build quality,handling & performance cant say enough about these cars,you have to drive one to understand Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

Great Car — i bought my vette in april of 2007 for $13,500 with 42000 miles on it.the car is in excellent shape and is fully loaded with every option i have learned alot about vettes since last year and enjoy every minute that i drive it very fast and handles great.only problem that i have is that i work alot and dont have much time to go for rides,but i love washing and waxing it on nice days ,i would buy another in a heart beat................... Very Tight Well Running Car — The car had 14576 miles on it when I bought the car on July 29, 2006, it now has 17300 miles on it and still looks brand new. Extremely, tight a few minor things need attention but it is 14 years new and still she runs like a top. Owner for 1 years, 7 months Miles Driven per Year:2,500 | ||

ProsGreat gas millage, comfortable, can handle almost any road. Great with top off on a road trip. ConsLegs get hot because the insulation from fire wall is not that great.

If You Need Some Change In Your Life Buy A Corvette — I have owned 4 Corvettes, 88,81,91,94 I never lost money on resale, you have an instant membership into a brotherhood of Corvette owners. if you ever need to get out of a bad head just hop in your vette and go for a drive.the best therapy yet.always get compliments and everyone wants to ask you about your car. its not a car that comes without the necessity for a labor of love. like anything else in life that brings you a feeling of pure bliss it also comes with a commitment on your part.if you maintain the engine and interior and do preventive maintenance you will be rewarded with a hassle free, asset that will gain in value and will also be something you are proud to own. You are now a Corvette junky when you start buying after market parts and soon you will find yourself spending all your money online buying from Ecklers or magazines for enthusiast, going to car shows and hanging out with other vette heads. ProsFun handling, good performance car for its age. ConsIt doesn't ride or perform as a C5 or C6, but still fun! Its a harder ride. Repair costs have been cheap.

I Love The Car, Great Fun! — It's fast, fun and a great performer for it's price range. Top down is easy to set up and very pleasant. The BOSE sound system puts out good sound even with top being down. It's fun to turn heads at 1/4 the price of a C6. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |
