1994 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Convertible Review
ProsLots of power, Real head turner, Lots of fun, Lights turn completely off while driving...(comes in handy) ConsGas mileage, Road noise, 2 low 2 ground, Fiber glass hood...(cant handle a little hail?)

My Camaro — Well its Amazing to me.. Been told its well over 400 horse by a few of my mechanics.. Because its a convertible there is alot of road noise and the suspension is very tight so I feel every bump or crack in the road and its VERY low to the ground so I have to go like 5km or less over speed bumps.... Only repairs so far and ive owned it for a year and a half now would be Spark plugs/ Wires and a new battery but it hailed a while ago and the hood and top need to be repaired/replaced because of it... I think its gorgeous and almost everyone I know who has seen it thinks the same... Gas mileage is amazing compared to my truck lol but still really bad compared to other cars.. about 16 mpg when driving nice... the car is SOOOO much fun like you have no idea how much fun ive had in this thing... Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

ProsT-Tops, Fast, Powerful, fun Conswide turning radius, loud, heavy, horrible in bad weather, not much storage space
55
Fun Car In The Summer — Overall, this is an awesome car to drive. It is fast, powerful, and American made. It has somewhat quick acceleration. The car is heavy in the front end, so braking is not as good as some other cars. gas mileage sucks. I get maybe 18 mpg on a good day. There is ample leg room in the front two seats for anyone over 6 feet, although the car does sit low to the ground. The rear seat are very impractical. There is hardly any leg room at all in back.

ProsSporty look, All-American name ConsTerrible seats will cause back problems and it's horrible in the snow.

All In All, A Dependable, Good Looking Summer Car. — Sporty look, well layed out interior, but V6 had no power and seats were terrible. While I had it, I had to replace tires, a leaky injector, and when I sold it, it needed tie rods and ball joints. Tires were an odd size too. Over two years, that's not too bad. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

ProsTorque and horsepower ConsRaining grip

Amazing! — I love the torque and how it spins the tires very well! It takes your breathe away every time you hit the gas pedal. When i was stock it had great gas mileage but not so much anymore! It handles well with the sub-frame connectors!

ProsJust look at it Consthe price of fuel in the UK

My Camaro — The car looks great, Gloss black is the only color! The interior has been re-upholstered with tan Connolly Leather drives like a real car,you throw it into corners and accelerate out, the 5.7 LTI engine goes like a bat outta hell.

ProsTTops, Performance, Looks ConsWinter driving, mileage not that great.

94 Z28 Camaro — Crazy Fast. Ttops are awesome. Some people complain about the interior, but its a muscle car not a caddilac. The seats are very comfortable, at least in the front. Forget about the back seat. It sucks driving in winter. It also is difficult to work on bc its very tight in the engine compartment. I love the styling. Got about 15 mpgs while romping on it continuously.

Prosmaintnance free, zippy, head turner Consnot awesome on fuel, little back seat room, not enough power
35
1994 Chevrolet Camaro — overall the camaro is a great car. but there is some down sides. the car is only a v6 so not quite enough power to spin tires(160hp) but it does do a one wheelie wonder. its pretty fast off the line hits 100km/h in second gear and tops out between 190-200 km/h. thats pretty good for a v6. brakes quick and strong. handles like a dream it goes where you want. the car has been good for repairs i have done nothing to the car for as long as i have had it the previous owner did an alternator. no road noise very quiet. a very sleek clean fast looking car the inside is very accommodating. the back seat has little room and the e-brake is on the other side of the center console. comfy to sit in. a great heater for winter heats that car up in no time. it only does 20-25 mpg right now from empty it takes $51 to fill gas is at 83.9 l so its not bad but not great. but for maintenance there is very little very great running car. the car is a joy to drive it gets some looks turns heads. a nice car to rip around in and be a bit different.

Prospower!!!!!!!!!!! Conshandling

94 Camaro Z28 — This is one of the funnest cars to drive that ive ever owned. the acceleration is one of the best qualities of the car, and how could it not be with a 5.7L V8! the only thing i have changed is the brake pads, gas milage is definately a minus. I am currently selling it for $3500 o.b.o, not because i don't want it, but because thats what i do.

Car — I got this car as an after graduation gift. I have not had any major problems out of it. The performance of the car is great. The engine has alot of power. The cost of ownership is not that bad. Repair cost are relatively low. The car is fun to drive. |
