The 1994 Camaro might be best known as the model year which returned the convertible to its rightful place in the pony car line. In the 1994 model, the differences between the base model engine and the Z28 are rather stark. The Z28 is much more powerful, while many users have cited problems with getting off the line in the base.
The steeply inclined windshield contributes to the all-over sporty feel of all models. Debris from the road grazes off of it with hardly a mark left. Like many models of Camaro, there are a few problems: the ABS, speedometer, and windshield wipers have all been noted as potential weak spots.
The softtop does its best to have all of the amenities of a regular coupe, including a rear defogger.
