11/10 Is My Final Word — I am a pure Jeep off road fanatic so rating my Jeep was easy. i love my jeep it has amazing off road, good handleing, a fairly powerful engin for a 4 cylender but is amazing on gas. all and all the funest thing ive had the opertunety to drive, other than drifting in my old cavy. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

It's A Jeep! — Love the looks. the straight 6 is bullet proof. this thing will go anywhere. the down side of the YJ is the rust, the frame has rusted by the rear shackles and the transmission mount rusted off. Luckily, this is so common that the repair parts are readily available and cheap. If you are reasonably mechanically inclined you can do most of the repairs yourself. Welding skills a plus. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

ProsI bought it brand new in May 1993 and it sat for 15 straight mos while I was over seas and then again it sat when I couldn't drive for being a dummy for over 18 mos and it ALWAYS started right up. ConsNot really built for long trips...it used to beat me to death on any rides over an hour.

Jeep - The Name Says It All. — The most fun you can have on 4 wheels for under $5000! Everyone should own a Jeep at least once in their lives. Great, Outdoors, Free, Unstoppable — I have a 93 sahara 4.0 5speed 174000 miles. acceleration is not fast, its a jeep not made to go fast but i go 70 easy. handling it will go anywhere, i replaced thermostat but thats a 7 dollar repair after 17 years! appearance its a love hate thing and i love it. if you like the out doors riding with the top off is amazing in the fall, spring, summer. maintenance doesnt need much and gas mileage is better then a truck but worse than a car. this jeep is fun to drive in all 4 seasons. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

Good All Around Jeep If You Have Good Frame — its got a light bar. with 6 jc lights. its got a 3in. lift and 33in. tires. its has a 260 hp. staright 6 4.0l h.o. its coupled to a 5spd manual tranny. its got a cb atenna whip. its got front and rear warn bumpers. it cost 50 bucks to fill up. it will be fun this winter in the snow...
