1992 Toyota Camry SE V6 Review
ProsJust about everything Consa little gut-less in the grand scheme of things.

My First Car — This was my first car. I loved everything about it. For a decked out 92' it had leather seats, CD player, sunroof, etc. It's V6 revved happily and smoothly and the 180 horses went down smoothly from the regular 4-spd auto. This cars handling as above average for a V6 front wheel drive, there was plenty of under-steer but never any torque steer.

ProsTotal reliability, comfy ride, cheap to fix if it breaks (which it won't) ConsBoring to drive and look at, slow

If All You Care About Is Reliable Transportation, Then This Is The Perfect Car For You. — This car does one thing really well: transporting. The ride is soft and is dead reliable, especially with the 4 cylinder engine. Downside to the 4 cylinder being if you have more than 2 people in the car, it really bogs down, and that soft suspension tuning really shows in the corners. Reliability is perfect with this car. It has never broken down in a catastrophic way and when it did need fixing it was super cheap to fix. And its cheap to run to. I average about 26 MPG, but can easily get over 30 MPG on the highway. If all you want from a car is dead reliable transport, then this is the perfect car. However, if you want even a remote amount of fun to be had, look elsewhere (Subaru mainly). Proscheap to run for decent performance. Consit's not that stylish (only if u r concerned about looks).

If Maintained Well, It'll Go Forever. — Acceleration 0-100 between 8 & 10 seconds, it's got comfortable driving position, the only big drawback is that the steering ratio is way to slow compared to new cars, it's cheap to run, it's roomy from inside & it's got good brakes & very good handling (hard suspensions). Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

410,000kms And Still Going Strong! — The TOYOTA CAMRY is one of the best cars ever designed and built, it's reputation for quality and durability is legendary. My CAMRY is now 17 years old with 410,000kms on it and still going strong! It has needed few repairs over the years other than regular wear items like brakes, tune-up and exhaust. TOYOTA really is the promise of something better. Primary Use: Commuting to work

She A Grand Ol' Car :d — I got her in my sophmore year in hs to learn how to drive and have had her ever since then. She's an amazing car with a heart of a truck or 4x4. I thik even sometimes that she might have been a race car in a prev life.

ProsVery reliable, great gas milege ConsFogs in damp warm weather

Best Car I Have Ever Owed. I Have Had It For 17 Years — I got mine new in 1992 and at 175,000 mile "Chuckie" is still going strong. I've recently moved from NJ to PA and the car made several 3 hour drives one way without any problem. Never had a major problem and just recently replaced the starter. Also I had the brakes over hauled in 2007. Paint has peeled due to the car sitting outside for about a year before I had the brake job. The gas milege is fantastic. However I have had issues with it fogging up in damp mild weather. I can't say how happy I am with it and I'll guess I'll keep it until he's at least 21. Primary Use: Family transportation
