Decent Truck. — This original owner used this truck for work. Hauling and towing were among it's duties. I bought it for $4200 with 242,000 kms. The tranny went shortly after I bought it. I bought a used tranny and installed it, got another 50,000 km some towing my old camper (5,000lbs). Ran three more transmissions through it but they were cheap and most likely damaged (one was my fault). The original engine was strong, the rings were going and needed valve seals but strong. Put my RV camed motor in with the first tranny swap, which assisted in the tranny trouble hehe, added to my heavy foot.

This Is A Good Truck — It got enough power but not too hard on gas, good brakes and handles pretty good too. I didnt have to do much repairs to it except the fenders a little. I like driving my truck, and I plan to put some money in the engine to make that truck into a sleeper-muscle truck

gas milage

1992 Gmc Sierra C1500 — my 1992 gmc 1500 is a good truck overall. its performance is great. accelerates good and brakes just as good. ive put an engine in it because a previous owner messed up the engine that was in it. it currently has a 350 throttle body injected. it doesnt look the greatest because it sat in a barn for a while and it has a few dents and scratches. but it is a great truck.

Pros

Looks, parts for 350 V8 are cheap as are parts for the rest of the truck.

Cons

None really, except mounting of an aftermarket radio in the dash is kinda wonky.

First Truck — Well it lasted me from 156k miles 'till 238k, then it started costing more a month in repairs than the payments used to be, so it was time to upgrade. IMO these trucks have classic looks and still look decent today (as long as you don't lift them that is)

1992 Gmc Sierra 1500 Slx — The gas mileage for a truck is amazing. Brand new trany, mag rims, winter tires/rims. Very little rust. Low milage for a `92. Body has next to no scratches/dents. Interior is clean. Only downside, cassate player. Two-tone blue extiorer, blue interior.
