1992 Cadillac DeVille Base Sedan Review
Pros1992 was the beginning of the end of true Cadillac style the body had all of the ques of the style of the past the taillights blending into the bumper long and tall and the grille and front bumper blending together and classically bathed in chrome accents the windowsand a streak from bumper to bumper along the sides thick supple leather seating plush carpeting and (although fake) just the right amount of dark wood grain throughout ConsGas mileage isn't great but I knew that when I bought it, for it's size and weight it gets acceptable mileage. The transverse engine is a bear to work on but not impossible to do the less extreme jobs oil changes, alternator replacement and transmission filter and change

The Deville Is Everything I Hoped For In A Classic Car, Ride Look And Pretsige — Mechanics eyes seem to gleam in dollar signs when you ask for work to be done and are quick to add on extras such as new wires and distributor caps you don't need to tune ups and such. Body shops and other types of work you might want follow suite, but all in all I love owning my Cadillac and the exhilaration of driving a car that fells like your driving a cloud, and the way where ever I go it turns heads and I receive smiles all the time. I was lucky, this car was obviously papered and garaged, for a 20 year old car I feel like it is only 8 years old at best, and at only 105,347 miles on the clock all it took was a wash, polish and some minor touch up to make it look as close to new as it can get Primary Use: Family transportation

Cadzilla — For an old Grandpa car it rocked! It was totally reliable, rock solid, and very comfy! It had a 4.9L and went like hell. I used to blow the doors off of kids in their rice rockets every chance I had. This car did not let me down. It was brutal on fuel using premium gas, but it never broke down and I stomped the crap out of it for 4 years. It was like riding on a cloud with my butt on a plush leather couch. Loved it and miss it! | ||

Old Skool Caddie — THis was my first car and i loved every minute of it. great horsepower with the northstar engine under the hood. i wish i still had the car. the only bad part of the car was that, it being a V8, the gas mileage was horrible and with soaring gas prices today i had to put in 93 octane when i filled the tank! | ||

Prosis built like a tank so i can be sure that i am safe while driving it. Consit takes premium instead of regular unleaded.

Cadillac Sedan Deville — My car is a beauty and is classy looking. I love the fins that i have on the back of the car. They remind me of the 1950's. The thing I dislike the most about my car is how much the gas is for it. It will only take premium and premium is always a couple cents higher than regular unleaded. Overall I think its a nice car. | ||

Class — it isnt real great on gas but its a price you pay for a big V-8 motor. this car has class . i used it for toting the family around and to and from school. i done regular maintenance to it to keep it running good it is very spacious. and has a lot of power Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

Great Car — good acceleration,good braking,needs repairs exterior is very nice cadillacs always have a lot of chrome,interior is also nice leather very roomy,and has many nice features,gas mileage is not very good plus it only takes premium so it's more, repairs are more because of the make and because these cars have problems to begin with,this car is very fun to drive.
