300k And Still Going — My '91 Maxima has 305,000 miles and still runs great. I've never had any major problems until the AC compressor went out recently. Of the five cars we've owned, this has been the best by far. I get 27-30 mpg with the 5-speed manual transmission and it's always been a fun car to drive.

Great Mpg For A Sports Car, Handling, Speed, And Having 4drs Makes It So Much More Useful. — I love my car, our first Maxima went over 220,000 miles before trading it in, not one major problem with it. The engine was still in great shape and transmission as well. The car is very fun to drive Our current Maxima has a bad fuel injector unfortunately, but when you consider what we paid ($500) then we really can have no regrets after a year of heavy use. All we have replaced thus far was a power steering pump. And this car was beat to hell BEFORE we got it. The one thing I will say is they are hit and miss. This car for instance had been mechiancly not the best, but the interiors has held up very well over the years. Our first was just the opposite. Gas mileage is about 30 on the highway, but not so great in town.

The Car — This was the car that sealed my love affair with Nissan. I had always loved Nissan cars, but this was the car that "sealed the deal". For a heavy car it was fast. It had the LE package, which included the Bose stereo, leather seating surfaces, sunroof, power passenger and driver seat, among other things.

Tired — The only thing that I don't like about my car is the windows don't work. It runs well ans its not a problem factor besides the normal wear and tear. The parts are readily available and its not costly for most parts

Overall It's Been Very Reliable. — What can I say I use it to get to work and back. It's nothing special but it's in very exceptional shape. Had to replace the maf sensor with an oem part because aftermarket maf sensors are too inferior. The one from autozone made the car run worse than it did with a faulty sensor.

A Pratical Cheap 4 Door Sporty Sedan Thats Bigger Then A Camery — bland stying and looks make this car look like a housing comimssions car but the vg30e engine that was also used in the 300zx (z31) and some luxury features such as velor interior and stock powerful audio system (back in 1991 from factory) made by clarion with a cd player but the car had retained some new sporty features such as a rear spoiler, stock tinted taillights, twin tip exsorst, sport funtion on the transmission as well as comfort mode and twin thotle bodies

Nissan Has Proven Value — Great power compared to US made 4-door models. Nice handling and lots of room. Many standard options like heated/powered mirrors, AC, PDL, Rear Disk Brakes and power trunk. Not so great at 23 MPG on highway but does provide a nice performance level. Minor upkeep like new starter, brakes, rotors, MAP sensor and tires. Everything is easy to repair at home with exception to the timing belt which was costly and done by a garage. Overall, I would recommend this car to anyone that needs to carry passengers.

Ugly Car — I got this car at the tail end of its life, still had quite a bit of power for a 3 litre tho. Ugly as sin!
