Perfect First Car For A Teen. — 99 JDM civic si block, red top DOHC VTEC head, skunk2 intake, stage 2 cams, catback exhaust. At a red light its a joke but get her on the highway and ill keep up, it ways a ton so of course it handles and brakes well. Looks almost factory besides the konigs, i went for a clean look . Cheap to repair. its a street legal go kart of course its fun.

Great Car — It got 160 bhp, and from 0-60 mph in about 7,5 sec. It needs new breaks, but otherwise its break fine. It handels like a go-kart. Honda spare parts its really strong but expensive. It needs som repairs. new breaks, clutch, drive axles and a engine service

This Is A All Around Great Car — Overall This is a really good car. The performance is there when you need it and has excellent gas mileage even when racing. The handling is great turns on a dime and stops on one too. Getting up to speed is no problem and has a great power to weight ratio. The Build quality is medium just for the fact that this car has been pieced together between various cars. This is soon to be fixed and the overall appearance is medium just needs some new paint and a little body work. This car is really fun to drive and I would recommend this car to everyone that is looking for a true sport compact.

Awesome Fun Car To Drive. — I love this car. Great ride, handles like a dream. Runs great, easy to work on, parts are cheap. Even with the small motor in it it gets up and goes. After some add on parts and some work in the garage it goes a bit faster. I'm waiting to do more motor work and add a turbo.

It's A Cheap Easy To Build Car And Awesome For A Budget Builder. — Performance-stock not to much. but considering it is a honda you can do just about anything to it. and performance is unlimited. Build-only problems I ever had was with the sunroof liking to leak. besides that it was golden. then again it is honda and they can last you forever. Appearance-she's not the best looking car out there but she isn't the ugliest out there either. Cost-cheap and easy to build. just about everything for the car can be found cheap. Fun Factor-with the right amount of money spent she can be the best car you'll ever drive.

If You Find One Get It. Easy To Work On. — I love my CRX HF. But I hate the engine. The stock engine is a dog. Cannot travel well in the mountains. Cheap to run though and really a blast to drive. Gets 50 MPG on the highway. Going to upgrade engine to a V- tech or a turbo engine. No parts availability for smog on standard engine. Developed idle problem and costs to fix is high. So Vtech here I come. Body has standard rust problems. Had to replace seats because of holes. Fun to work on though.

Buy One. — Light, and with the mods I have, super quick. Quick handling, and with a little money thrown at it, rides like it's on rails. I look forward to the commute to/from work every day I get to drive this car.

Make More Like The Crx Hf Or Even The Civic Hatchback Vx 1992-1995 — I only wish Honda Continued making cars like this. Yes there are similarities in the 2000 Insight and the New 2009 Insight sedan but those two models is not as mught fun as the CRX. You can modified the CRX to endless possibilities. However I like mine stock as this CRX has personelly been tested ranging from 38 MPG CITY and 62 MPG HIGHWAY. The New 2009 CRX Cannot beat that MPG. I think I read an Article from Automobile May-July 2009 magazine reviewed the Original CRX HF 1984 vs. 2009 Insight. They said the original CRX HF gets better MPG than the new 2009 Insight. Although weight plays another part. Since 1985 CRX HF only weighs 1,700 lbs vs 3,000 lbs 2009 Insight.

I Love My Crx. Period. — The Honda CRX is great on gas miliage and is also great as a little fun car to zip around town in. Gets up out of 1st and 2nd pretty quick, can turn on a dime, and stops very quickly. The appearance of the car is kind of a timeless design, in 40 years this car will still look good because it has a neutral kind of boxy look to it that makes it stand out from all the other cars on the road. It's cheap to purchase and you get a lot of bang for your buck.

1991 Honda Crx Hf — Great mileage, very sexy, but also pretty slow. It had a 72 HP engine but got 40+ MPG. Only a two seater so it was great for explaining why I couldn't be the designated driver. Huge "trunk" in the hatch area.
