I Loved It — the car was amazing it drove into a pole goin 30mph and drove away from it couldnt beat the engine it had a little bit of get up and go to it and for as much abuse i put it through it should have died along time ago Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

I Wouldn't Mind Another As A Second Car — It was actually a 96kw twincam 16v. performance was excellent, it had to be as the head was ported/flowed,valves spiralled, split cams etc. Cost of ownership not bad until it started giving problems then it was fuel pump,knocksensor,ECU etc. Handling & weight distribution extremely good. Primary Use: Commuting to work |

Excellent Car — Corolla AE92 1,6 gt twincam 90 Hp. Wauw.. My first car which I invested alot of time and money in. Changed the seats and door interior to sports ones. Build a big ass stereo in it. Installed NOS on it (which was very fun). Lowered 4 cm, Tinted windows, 16" alloy and it got a new paintjob. Good times mr corolla.. Primary Use: Commuting to work |

I Got 11 Years Of Reliable Use Out Of This Car, And Enjoyed Driving It. — Adequate engine performance for a people/stuff mover. Mileage: under 7L/100km on long trips; 8-8.5L/100km around town. Fairly easy to maintain, parts are usually easy to find. Owned 1998-2009, only replaced when tempted with an inexpensive rust free Camry wagon. Primary Use: Family transportation |

Alaina's 1990 Corolla — this car was purchased for 750. i needed something so i got this car. its pretty good overall, other than the brakes are weird and the e-brake doesnt work. the liner was coming down but my brother fixed it for me, so that was nice. it is a pretty decent car, it gets me up and down to see my boyfriend and all. im hoping this car lasts me awhile!! Primary Use: Family transportation |

Good Dependable Car When Taken Care Of Just Kinda Ugly. — Well technically they're good cars if they are taken care of, but mine wasn't. It was ugly when I got it. That year Corolla is ugly regardless. It had descent speed my brake master cylinder went bad on it. The handling was okay but not the greatest. I never really had to put much money into it parts wise, I ended up selling it before it got to that because the master cylinder was already bad and it had a minor oil leak. I got 25 - 30 miles to the gallon, maintenance wasn't too too bad. Fun to drive? ehh..not really. Primary Use: Commuting to work |

Very Understated Cars The Gt Sedans, Just As Fun As The Hatch Backs And More Practical. — I had a GT type sedan, with a 4AGE twin cam 1600 engine. Was alright when i got it but didnt go as hard as I expected. Did some mods such as lightened flywheel, exhaust, long intake kit with pod filter, 4-1 extractors. This really opened it up and it was heaps of fun :) Screamed once it was past 4500rpm sounded really nice. Lowered it with Jamex springs and new kyb shocks, handled well and put some 15" Dtm mags on it, Looked the part too. Nice factory sport interior. Really good all round car! Primary Use: Commuting to work |
