Great, Reliable Car — I got this car a couple weeks after the Corolla died; I was in a desperate need of a vehicle that was roomy enough to hold a bunch of newspapers I deliver, yet had good fuel economy (so trucks, vans, and SUVs were out of the question), this one was the only one in my budget available on Craigslist, at the time. The car was in a fair to poor condition and being sold for more than its worth, but I didn't want to offer something too low to the point that the owner would refuse to sell the car to me, so I offered $100 more than its worth, but the owner asked for another $100 and the price was settled for $200 less than the original asking price. The car had several minor to moderate problems that I've managed to fix over the year, but the rest is a bit too complicated for me to fix myself, since I'm not much of an mechanic. I really have to give it to this car for the fact it hasn't ever broken down on the side of the road, other than a couple times I had to change a flat tire, ever since buying the car. Unlike the Corolla, I sort of like how the Accord looks, which is, in some way, sort of sporty for a family car; I suppose it's because the body is low, wide, and relatively flat. Despite the fact that the car is getting pretty close in reaching 250,000 miles as of November 19, 2014, I'm pretty sure it will last another 50,000-100,000 miles, but I'll probably get rid of it, for a better car, before it reaches 300,000 miles.

Pros

It's built complex, yer simple.

Cons

Interier noise, tires etc. big factor. But it happens in many front wheel drives.

Reliable, And Well Thought Of. — For a straight 4 cylinder engine, with 2.2 liters, it's gives a reasonable amount of power. But still, made on fuel economy, unlike some newer models with a V6 3.0 Liter engine! So yeah, the tyranny also comes with a sport, and what I believe is a 4, or 5 speed, which is now failing on me, and jumping, with more than 300,000 Km which I'll soon replace, along with many other things, but you could see it's a long lasting car, that's easy to fall in love with!

Pros

It's a Honda.  Fun to drive.  Solid.  Fuel mileage is excellent.

Cons

This one is older, so it has some normal aging problems.

Back To The Honda — Firstly, is the overall concept that it is a Honda. The fuel mileage in a car that is not only fun to drive, but low maintenance and comfortable. If I never sell this, so much the better. For the money: carefree as it gets.

Pros

It should have gotten decent gas mileage, mine wasn't impressive, but i'm sure it did when it was new.

Cons

There are much better $800 rust buckets out there

Even If It Had Been New, It Wasn't My Type Of Car — I'm sure this car had its better days, but I never liked it a bit. It was a hand-me- down rust bucket from my brother. It was a brown/tan color, rusted out, and dirty, but it got me to school throughout high school. The engine had a sensor issue where it pulsated at idle, and the brakes never had much pressure, even after bleeding them. I was very happy to get rid of this car.

Pros

dependable, affordable

Cons

door latch stuck

It'll Get You There — I put 32k miles on in a year and a half. Only had to replace the muffler, and driver's side door latch seized shut (not an easy fix), on this 20 year old car. Otherwise a reliable car. Much quieter and smoother ride compared to what I am used to, but not as lively and fun either.

1990 Cb7 5spd — This is a great fun car to drive. Since it's a Honda, it's also very easy to modify. The gas is great since mine was a 5 speed. Easy handling and a great solid engine. The interior was ok, but i would have changed it out.
