Great, Reliable Car — I got this car a couple weeks after the Corolla died; I was in a desperate need of a vehicle that was roomy enough to hold a bunch of newspapers I deliver, yet had good fuel economy (so trucks, vans, and SUVs were out of the question), this one was the only one in my budget available on Craigslist, at the time. The car was in a fair to poor condition and being sold for more than its worth, but I didn't want to offer something too low to the point that the owner would refuse to sell the car to me, so I offered $100 more than its worth, but the owner asked for another $100 and the price was settled for $200 less than the original asking price. The car had several minor to moderate problems that I've managed to fix over the year, but the rest is a bit too complicated for me to fix myself, since I'm not much of an mechanic. I really have to give it to this car for the fact it hasn't ever broken down on the side of the road, other than a couple times I had to change a flat tire, ever since buying the car. Unlike the Corolla, I sort of like how the Accord looks, which is, in some way, sort of sporty for a family car; I suppose it's because the body is low, wide, and relatively flat. Despite the fact that the car is getting pretty close in reaching 250,000 miles as of November 19, 2014, I'm pretty sure it will last another 50,000-100,000 miles, but I'll probably get rid of it, for a better car, before it reaches 300,000 miles.

I Hate My Car... — it stinks.. ive had it for 5 years and i cant wait to get a new car. For the most part it runs good - Ive had no real problems with it. Had to replace the tranny once about 2 years ago.

Need A Car? Choice Made. — Performance? None Build Quality? Meh Appearance? No Cost of ownership? got 20 bucks? Fuel Economy? 24 (meh) Fun Factor? Through the roof. Nothing like beating one of these down a crooked road. Overall, this is another prime example of what Honda is missing in their lineup today. Simplicity. There are no fancy bells and whistles. It's a car, that runs, no matter what. The body and frame were known for rusting but its hideous anyway. Better looking than anything Honda makes currently but still hideous. Bottom line? It is a great example of basic transportation.

Pros

Reliable and Economical

Cons

Looks like a Nana-mobile

Nana-mobile — I brought this car about a year ago. Was in good 2nd hand condition, still is apart from the clear coat peeling away quite badly now. Although looks like a nana-mobile it is reliable and economical, always starts up in the morning. Relatively cheap to run. Am only now having problems with the front windows but that will come with age/wear and tear.

Fun and Reliable

Cons

No reasons that I can think off

I Love The 1990 Accord — This car is very reliable & can be kept for a long run. Solid body and terrific engine (SM4). The only thing that is a little unsatisfactory is the gear box. You will need to get it fixed or, worst case scenario, change it into a new gear box so that everything the car will run smoothly.

Best Car I've Ever Owned. If They Rolled One More Off The Assembly Line, I'd Buy It Over Anything. — This is one of the best car I've ever owned. It has lasted through everything. All I've ever had to replace on it... Tires, brakes, and the radiator. It does great in the snow, and gets great gas mileage. Get this car.

Decent, But Camry Is Better. — pretty nice, the interior is pretty bad though. it handles quite nicely, and the power steering is quite good. i have only driven the automatic version, and it gets near 30 miles per gallon. not a very sporty car though. also a pretty reliable car.

Pros

Good cheap reliable car. Nice acceleration now that I'm starting to really drive it. Seems pretty modern for 1990. Lots of space inside and in trunk.

Cons

Slight rust, growing by the year. One spring broken.

Sleeper. — Not bad on gas, got an average rating at air care test. 2.2L gets the job done. No A/C but thats just the trim I ended up with I guess. But good all round car, drives nice in summer and snow. Got quite the sound system in mine so I am happy with it.

If it was an animal it'd tear your face off with how awesome it is.

Cons

Well, the resell price wasn't that great cause everyone had this car.

A Sweet Little Ride. — Above average sedan that got the job done back in my day. It looked and handled very nice. It was my first love, I mean, Car.
