My '90 Iroc-z 350 — Sweetest car ive ever owned! 350 is crazy powerful lays rubber for miles. Leaves everything else in the dust. Only 35,000 miles so its like new in and out. Bright red paint and loud exhaust tends to attract to po-pos though.

Pros

Torque, Handling, Looks

Cons

Interior, Transmision Options

1990 Iroc Camaro — My car had the 5.7L TPI engine. Performance wise this car was a blast to drive. The TPI engine generates a lot of torque in the low RPM ranges. This engine makes this car an excellent choice for spirited drives. The huge negative for this car is the CHEAP interior. Plastic covers everything on the inside of the car, and the fit and finish leaves a lot to be desired. As these cars get older the interior becomes warped from heat causing a lot of rattles and vibrations. Additionally, the 5.7L engine is only available with an automatic transmission! If you want a manual you will have to settle for the 5.0L.

Cons

No t-top.

Yee Haw!! — A classic country ride. The lack of power in the old motor was made up for by the fun times made available. The rwd was a great tiome. People loved the look of the ole bird. I definitely miss this car.

I Love This Car — car drives excellent. chevy got this one right. i plan on building it up quite a bit here soon. the paint is sunfaded, and it has a few odds and ends that need to be repaired but thats about all that is wrong with it.

Pros

Lots of power, 5 speed manual

Cons

crappy paint, person before me was a bad mechanic and it had problems

Good Sound, Good Power, Too Much Fun. — performance: I got this car with a 355 small block chevy in it. It had tons of power but never ran right because the engine was timed wrong would have been a sweet car if I had fixed that. build quality: Good quality car interior looked a little cheap and the clear coat on the paint was peeling badly. Lots of fun to drive

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

I Love It — Fast, sexy, was rated the best handling american made car in the 80's, what more could you want? It is a classic piece of american automotive history, and they can be had at a reasonable price now a days.

power, looks, stick shift, and baby does it sound good.

Cons

Needs some TLC but it'll have to wait till i get some mo money

Classic Car With Kick — awesome acceleration and braking but it does have a tendency to fishtail around sharp corners. Its got a few dings and paints fading in a few places and the back hatch is loose so that needs to be replaced, otherwise its in excellent condition for a 20 year old car. I love driving it and its a V8 but its not too hard on the gas...if you can stand to keep off the petal.

The V6 but that going to be swapped

Daily Driver In Style! — Car is great just need a little more power but that an easy fix. Big thing is that it is solid and doesn't have problem. The handling is 2nd to none and can turn better then any new car I've driven.

Got The Last Iroc Cov't — I had the pleasure of buying a slightly mistreated 1990 Iroc Cov't about 2 yrs ago. I am doing my best to make it what it once was and then some. Even for a 16 yr old car, the kids still love it. Windows come down at stoplights for a HP estimate or model year query. And the kids who were babies when these cars ruled the streets still test their macho gusto at greenlights. I usually win. It is a total blast to drive this car. Let 'em tune. I rock.
