Pros

Great for performance, stereo systems, makes a great daily driver. The possibilities are endless for this car, they have huge potential and are great fun even in stock form.

Cons

Odd stering wheel to petal distance, either petals need to be brought towards the firewall some, or a dished steerin wheel should be installed.

A Great Fun Gas Sipping Go Kart For The Road. — everything form the HF to the Si gets good gas mileage, some better than the others. The CRX platform is a very interesting looking car that most people seem to love, kids like the "Matchbox" look, girls think its cute, and guys can't get past the great performance. The Honda engines are rock solid and supply more than enough grunt to pull along these little cars. The transmissions are geared pretty steep, but the still do well on long distance highway trips. The handling of the CRX is amazing! The short wheelbase and lightweight make it an ideal car for short, quick turns such as in autocross. Since most of the weight is on the front of the vehicle (around 55-60% of it) the crx can also kick out the rear end while doing some high speed turns, which is a blast for more experienced drivers. The interior is tastefully done for a 1980's vehicle and is host to many storage compartments, some of which even lock.

Lots Of Fun — Great performance, decent fuel economy, fun to drive. Pity it had been abused, but still ran well for the most part. Got pretty rust, had some squeaks and rattles. I would love to have had it in better condition, though.

Awesome Car! — This car is a sport compact classic! Super reliable, awesome gas mileage, fun to drive. I have own this thing for 8 years and never had any mayor problems. If you can find one in good condition buy it! I recommend the Si model but any other model with the 5 speed tranny.

Small And Sporty — I only had it for a short amount of time but it was a fun sporty car that got killer gas mileage. It felt firm on the road and was like driving a fast go cart because it was so low to the ground. Ran like a champ and never really needed anything.

The Most Fun To Drive Car For The Price — Sporty economical car. Interior: Bucket seats, two seater, lots of room. Low to the ground and short wheelbase for great handling, Light for great pickup

Fun Little Car — Had the Euro 1.6-16 - the 16v DOHC (D16 or ZC engine) in the UK - good for 130 hp which in a car this size was'nt bad . Superb grip and pretty good handling from double wishbone suspension all round. Good fun to drive - these little Hondas love to be revved hard. Very popular in autocross in the US and when modified make great track cars. VTEC was 30hp more (UK version) but the added weight of aircon and power steering made the cars perform pretty equally on a circuit. Great trackday car!

Pros

LOVE everything about this car-- which is why I've had it for 23 years. It was a year old when I bought it, with 85K miles on it, and as of this writing, it has 215K on it. (I work at home) The engine and transmission are amazing and reliable. Handling is terrifically responsive,  fun, and the fuel efficiency still can't be beat: close to 40 mpg on highways...  Oddly, great in snow!! Honda should remake the CRX and put the *same* engine in it.

Cons

If it weren't for the body beginning to rust near wheel farings and doors, I would keep this car indefinitely. Additionally, I  put a second heater assembly in it, but the controls cracked and gave out in the same place, so I left it as is and adjust the heater/ vent seasonally by toggling it from below the console.  I've been told, too, that the ride is a bit harsh and the interior noise levels a bit high, but I don't seem to have ever minded it.

Eventually, too, the factory-installed sunroof began leaking and I've taken some urethane caulking and sealed it shut.  I bought an additional sunroof (seals, etc.) to install a few years back and will give to an enterprising buyer.

Best. Car. Ever. — Nothing whatsoever to dislike about this car. Best car for the money. After I had the smallish loan paid off, I haven't had to put much money into keeping it year after year. Seriously best car ever. Sadly, I'm selling it this year and am hoping someone will buy it who can do some restoration work on the body.

Good Economy — lots of fun to drive but not alot of power. good economy for driving back and forth to work. and doesn't rattle if you have subwoofers. can be made fast as hell but stock its just not all there. and lasts forever can't kill the car.
