Cons

5.0 Mustang — performance- with a few add ons this car was a beast lots of torqe and hp they have tons of aftermarket parts for this car. build quality- its decent aslong as you dont have a AOD tranny youll be fine with just checkin your belts and oil change oo and i did have to replace the oil pump about 2 times other then that it was great. appearance- i loved how the car sits and looks what can you say its a classic notch. cost of ownership- gas mileage was terrible but what do you expect from a 5.0 fun factor- fast, lightweight, looks great ,easy to fix

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

fun and sporty

Cons

Getting older

Fox Convertible — I love driving this car in the summer. It handles great, has good acceleration because it is a five speed, and looks good with the top down. It is also surprisingly good on gas. All in all I love this car.

Pros

endless posssibility for a very fast track or street car

Cons

money, money,money

Blue Stang — Get some after market suspension parts right out of the gate. I did a Kenny Brown set up(panhard bar,sub-frame contectors, koni race shocks, race springs, maxmotorsport caster camber plates, solid bushings) this help tighten up the car. 302 is fast but could be faster, letting it breath is the easiest way to do this( BBK headers, remove cat's, 2-1/2 pipe all the way out, mass air swap out). Love the Fox Body tuff looking car. Loved this car out on the track and as a kick butt street car just go play around in. Build a motor (331 stroker would be my choice) and this car would be well on it way to rippin. I miss my Blue Stang. Someday I would like to get my hands on another one, and finish what I started. Make it fast, and stick to the ground!

Too Fast For Your Own Good — Whats to say? Built in my garage, everything has been updated or changed out. Damn quick, rides like its on rails. Needs paintwork desperately. Soon to come in the future, once finances allow it, for now its a garage queen.

Fox Body Original — Great car with the venerable 5.0L engine. Owed since 1991. Over 400,000 miles later it still starts on first crank. Modfications: 130w alternator (3rd gen), A/C runs R-134a. Gas Mileage: 25 HWY, 13 City. Performace: Quick off liine, smooth on Highway. Apperance: Needs paint on hood, headliner, upholstery repair. Otherwise no rust or corrosion

One Of Ford's Better Ideas. — Over 400,000 miles, and still going. About the only thing it needs is a paint job, and some upholstery work. I have owned it since 1991, and have to graciously say no to any offers to sell it. I plan an end to end restore in about 3 years when it reaches the ripe old age of 25 years and probably half a million miles.

Pros

Fuel Economy with the 4-cyl engine + 5 speed manual transmission.

Cons

If you need a dependable car, make sure you have some electrical background for proper maintence.

I Loved It. It Was My First Car And It Was A Sad Day When I Had To See It Go. — Had electrical issuses with starting and power dist. systems. Overall if i had modded the 4 banger that was in it i believe that it would of had a longer place in my garage. But the first car is always the one you want out but hate to see go..

Low Mile Stock 5.0 — It was my Uncle's toy that he drove on nice Sundays. Except for a set of Cobra 5 star rims it is bone stock and has under 20,000 miles. Black with a red interior 5spd. It is a fun car to drive.
