I Plan To Move And No Longer Have A Garage. — The 1989 Corvette touted a digital dashboard that still attracts quite a bit of interest. The deeply padded seats borrow from the Recaro look. I think this 1989 C4 is exceptional based upon the build quality, performance, and convertible option.

Looks Good, Ran Good, Handled Good, Made Me Crazy With Quality Issues. — Great handling, fast, seemed lighter the faster you went. Six speed shifter was fantastic. Too flexible, too many things go wrong, ride extremely harsh with many rattles and shakes. Only kept it 5 years. Trade in allowance just about paid for the Miata. | ||

Love A Convertible — saw this sweetie sitting on a used car lot- mine is marina blue leather interior with a matching body- white convertible roof- she is so gorgeous! had 80,000 miles on her- not a rattle or squeak- won the first car show I put her in- I love nothing better than driving her and she gets better mileage than my hyundai! | ||

ProsFor the age of the vehicle, it looks and drives like new. People admire the flowing lines, sound of the engine, and the fact that it is a true American sports car. ConsThis is not a practical family car and maintenance costs can be expensive.

All American Fun! — This is my first Vette, something that I dreamed of since high school. Now that prices have come down, I was able to get into it for less than $5k and it has only 80k miles. It also has the 6-speed manual transmission, selectable ride, leather, targa top, and power everything. The 240 HP along with the incredible torque, highly reactive steering, and low stance is enough to give any driver a thrill. For a 350 V8, this car is getting 20 MPG, better than my wife's little SUV with a 6 cylinder. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Fast Fun Looks Good And Kns How To Out Run Anything — sleek,low,v8 baby, fast, out runs the cops, handles great. one hell of a gas guzlr well mine is now >:) 19 mpg in city 28 on hwy. the car can take one hell of a beating and keep roll like brand new. chevy till i die Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

A Dream Come True! — My 50th birthday brought a new mistress into my life - a beautiful 1989 Red Corvette. I'd been looking for a while and most of this era are totally trashed - inside and out. On a drive-by, spotted her in a small used car lot. Ran state title on her and found one owner for 16 years and two years with one owner. Definitely garage-kept and maintained well. Dealer was motivated and got her for $7000! Needs rubber weatherstrip work, new stereo system, tires sometime this summer, but interior is immaculate and exterior very clean. Exterior molding is fading but that can be corrected. Mechanically checked out in great shape - mechanic was pushing me to sell and I only had her for two days! Her first drive was in the Smoky Mountains along the Little Pigeon River. Never been in a car ever that held flat in a 30 mph turn at 50. Got to watch for cops! Owner for 0 years, 1 months Miles Driven per Year:5,000 |
