The Wight Plan — i love it .. it just really nice to driver i was dreaming about the chevell '70 . i had some drag races on it it can reach only 175 KM/H but even that what a normal car like it can reach that fast ( i know i speak english so bad , i'm soory ) :)

Pros

full frame, classic styling, biggest engine bay ive ever had makes swapping in whatever i like a breeze.

Cons

the trunk floor is sunk on the sides, and they tend to rust. also, lack of after market panels. i had to make my own floor boards from scratch when they decided to ruct out

Great Car, Buy One. — best. car. ever. Great buildability, beautiful ride even at high speeds, 9c1 package handles amazing for a big car, plenty of leg room for cruising around with a group of friends. it got incredible mileage on long trips until i swapped in the 454.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Chevy Caprice — Performance - It had a 305, but with a 350 it hauls some ass Build - their just as tough as a half ton truck. Appearance - They can look really nice if done right. Mine was alright, but not the nicest i've seen.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Enjoyed It While I Had It. — Though it was a big pig - heavy, ponderous, and underpowered, I enjoyed the three years I spent with my '89 Caprice Classic Estate wagon. My Caprice had the low- compression Olds 307 with the electronic QuadraJet and was not exactly a rocket. But what can you expect from a vehicle that weighed 4,000 pounds? Acceleration, braking and handling were adequate for a vehicle of this size. Build quality was decent and held up pretty well over time. However, rust (mostly hidden behind the vinyl wood paneling) became a problem. Exterior styling was... well, it was a blocky station wagon with fake wood paneling. Not exactly beautiful. The interior was typical of its day: velour and plastic. It was comfortable, and fully loaded. A/C, cruise, tilt, power windows, power driver's seat. Gas mileage was acceptable on the highway and negligible in the city. Overall, I enjoyed the Caprice. It was roomy, quiet, unique (in a world of melted jellybean-looking vehicles), and the sound of a V8 under the hood was always welcome.
