Good Car, Fairly Reliable. — i got my 700 dollars worth i think-but turning into a money pit slowly. I guess all cars are like that. I love it though, and im sure it will be here for awhile longer. Love to have another one someday. Wish i had radio. Primary Use: Commuting to work |

My First Car — This car had over 200,000 miles on it. The 5.0 engine still had great power after all the years. People thought this rusty hunk of junk was going to fall apart. It sure treated me well! It was my first car and loved big daddy! Primary Use: Commuting to work |

ProsI could run over crap and it wouldn't matter. Bulletproof engine. Could fit like 10 people in it. Torqy. Could spin the tires with a touch of the pedal. ConsTransmission sucked so bad. Terrible traction too.

1988 Town Car — First car... bought it for $500 in 2006. It was an ok student car. Good engine (302) but they should have put the DOHC in the town car... not the crappy OHV. Transmission sucked. Seriously. But the trunk was big, could fit a ton of people in it.... sucked in the rain though. Primary Use: Commuting to work |

My Town Car Is Black W/black Carrage Roof & Loads Of Chrome ( A Real Head Turner ) — This is my third Lincoln and this one is a Town Car . I am the second owner of this fine automobile. It had 139,000 miles on it when I bought it. I put new Michelin tires on it and then I drove it 400 miles, but before I left on that trip I checked the oil level in the pan. It was right up there where it was supposed to be. Upon arriving at my destination I checked the oil level again and there it was right up there where it was before I left home. O K you want me to rate this car ? I personally cannot understand why sombody would want to sell one of these except maybe to upgrade to a newer version of a one-of-a-kind ride like this one. I can tell you one thing though if you have ever driven a Lincoln you won't want to drive a Cadillac that is for sure! Friends asked me when did I get this car and I tell them that this is not a car It's a LINCOLN ! Why drive a car when you can drive a Lincoln ! Primary Use: Family transportation |

ProsReally comfortable, you recognize it when you see it, fun to drive... ConsReally comfortable, you recognize it when you see it, fun to drive... I picked up 2 speeding tickets in 3 months on the same road from the same cop. He also greeted me one morning when I accidently parked it on top of a snow bank.

The Gold Dabloon — was my cruiser. It was a gift from an elder in my family - a luxurious change from the Cavalier, and it was fast as hell. During a spat with my folks, I left the house angry (don't do it kids) and left 80' tire marks up the street. I went through some hard times in my life while owning that car and seeing photos of it makes me remember how hard I worked to get to where I am. |
