Pros

Inexpesive horsepower.  You can beat the cost/horsepower.

Cons

Cheap horspower.  You will not be in the inner circle of upper echelon muscle car enthusiast. The disgusted looks you'll get when you kick the BMW M3 or M5's behind. Well, maybe not a con, just depends on how you look at it.

Amazingly Fun And Affordable Car — This is the first new car I have ever purchased. I bought it just prior to starting pilot training in the Air Force. I have had it and worked on it many times since. I have just started a total restoration project on it and plan to give it to my son when he graduates college in a few years. It will not be stock. It has amazed me how easy and inexpensive these cars are to work on. Just about everthing you can imagine doing to one has already been done by someone else and you can read about it or watch it on youtube. This car pulls sub 12s in the quarter and gets 26 mpg on the highway. Way to go Lee Iacocca, may God rest his soul.

Low Price Car Needs Upgrades. — Driving it for 20 years. Soon after purchase it received underdrive pulleys, aftermarket shifter, good tires, 65mm throttle body, subframe connectors, a brake system upgrade, and a centerforce II clutch. That is what it takes, in my opinion, to make it a good car. Been pretty happy with it since!

Best Car In The World! — Awesome car, great ride and feel, excellent preformance. Lots of aftermarket goodies to enhance preformance. In Stick form you can get better gas milage, can build the basic engine to over 300 horse power and over a decade of ass kickin fun!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Lowered, city streets makes it bumpy as hell

Great Car — Accelerates nicely, power is really there when you want it. Hate the 4 lug rims. Brakes good. Not a car for more than 3 people to fit it unless your small. Front seats feel great. Lowering springs not for you if your city roads are like plowed fields.

Cons

Loud, Fast, Tire Smoking Fun — Ridiculously fun with the taller gears. Traction is hard to get until 3rd gear. The cam really helps to get it going. Needs a lot of cosmetic work-little bit of body work and paint, some interior re install, but hey, it's a project car.

It's a mustang, and it handles very well. (On performance tires)

Cons

Mileage is crap but not a huge deal.

Fun Car, Bad On Gas. Overall...well Worth The Purchase. — Performance: For a 2.3L Engine, it has great pick up. Build Quality: For the most part the car holds up very well, The body has 355,000km on it and could probably double that. Appearance: Not quite as muscle looking as other mustangs, but still a great looking car. Cost of Ownership: Mileage isn't great, but it's a mustang...don't expect much. Otherwise, parts are cheap to get for this car. Fun Factor: Go to an empty parking lot and punch the gas and you'll find out.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

red, fast, loud, bullet proof, its a fox body saleen mustang, a piece of americana modern day muscle car of the 80's.

Cons

interior is not so nice looking in design, hard to drive, beats you up when driving for awhile. no cup holders, lol, cheap american quality of the 80's

Great Collectable For Not Too Much Money. Eye Catcher At All Ford Shows, Car Shows. — true saleen mustang, number 329. rare red on red. edelbrock intake, ported and polished gt 40 heads, shorty headers, griffin larger radiator, electric fan, aluminum drive shaft, crane ignition, air in take, hurst short throw shifter, and ofcourse all your saleen upgrades such as racecraft suspension, rolled fenders (yes saleen rolled the fenders) 11 gallon fuel tank (cant go too far with out refueling, but will cost only 30 bucks to fuel up on super)lol. everything like my 91 notchback but better. i cant see what else you can do to these fox bodies mustangs to make them handle better. its all power and performance, all raw, and no computer gizmos to help you so you better know what your doing if your going to hammer this thing. great power, good handling, a handful to drive so that can be fun and a nightmare, its a fox body saleen so its rare, a higher sought out cult car and truly a future collector. definitely a toy and should not be your only car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)
