'88 Silverado 2500 — It's a truck. That's about all there is to it. Torquey engine, 4.11 gearing, sounds good, accelerates okay for being 5,000 lb, tows anything, hard to find parking, 12 miles to the gallon, looks good, easy to install new parts, overall fun to own. Primary Use: Commuting to work |

Looking For A Pos To Beat The Shiz Out Of And Not Feel Bad? — performance- Tops out at around 110 MPH in O/D. It out handles, out accelerates and out breaks my moms 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 360 V8. Build Quality- Theres a reason that its still here after 20 some years Apperience- embarassing Cost of ownership- If driven normally, not bad at all on gas. But who dose that? Fun Factor- Really its not bad for being 2wd Primary Use: Commuting to work |

Tough Truck — For starters its chevrolet Performance- pretty good handling for a 3/4 ton pickup, decent braking but cant stop on a dime (lots of weight), acceleration is decent but its a work truck, not a hot rod. Build Quality- it needs no repars to be road worthy, no squeaks no rattles. just needs power windows fixed. 4 wheel drive works good. Appearance- inteior styling is classic interior with a bench seat clean carpet and dash. exterior is ok, it is going to the body shop in the spring, needs new rockers and bed skins and paint. unless kept upon usuallyrocker panels and fenders go after a few years. cost of ownership- have not had it very long fun factor- absolutly, you feel like you own the road. Its my own, only needs a little to look amazing. |

Its A Work Of Art — theres nothing i dont like about this truck its an all around good truck its got thepower when u need it and its easy to maintain and its just a wicked truck to drive i like everything about this truck Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

Very Awsome Truck Great For A Work Truck And Also For A Play Truck — i have a 1988 4 by 4 chevy and i must say its a tough one its been threw everything you could think of in the old 350 with a 4 speed transmission has never failed me yet i also have a 94 1500 chevy and u cant beat them the only bad thing is it loves to suck the gas any were on back roads i get 10 to 11 mpg n thats it but i run it hard Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |
