ProsStunning Styling Ferrari Like handling ConsAweful Engine (2.0) and Interior design/Quality

Great Car To Own If You Have The New Interior And The More Powerful Engines. Still Turns Heads. — Performance: With the 2.0 Engine you'd be better of with a horse if you want racing. Handling is unbelievable good! Build Quality: Sheet metal perfect, chassis perfect. Interior: COMPLETE disaster not a single Beretta has a good looking dash they all get warped. Appearance: Stunning exterior styling one of the best Chevrolet designs in ages, absolute horror inside. The design teams never spoke to each other. Cost of Ownership: Real real cheap, the TBI inyection is a pain and mine in particular won't ever hold idle where it should be but parts a easy to find and cheap. Fun Factor: Eventhough the car is really really slow, the hadling makes it incredibly fun. Get a Quad4 Beretta with the twin cam 4 in line engine and that should be real fun! Also Newer Berettas have better interiors. Primary Use: Commuting to work |

Got To Love Your Own Car First Before You Can Love Anyone Esle's Car — my car is really fun to drive because it has a 5 speed transmission and every corner is a blast. Even though my clutch went out I went and bought a new one and going to put it in as soon as i have the time. Primary Use: Commuting to work |

Chevrolet Beretta — My car saves gas (when my foot is light), it only cost me $750, and its really fun to drive out on the backroads when the coast is clear... she needs a paint job and an upgraded suspension, but for the most part its a very fun little car to drive. |

Prosit took a beating and kept on ticking. Consi had bought it with hail damage and a huge dent in the drivers door. it went through 4 alternators in 2 years and 2 batteries. i had to replace the shocks, rotors and brakes, before i sold it. plus the transmission was going out it didnt like going in reverse in the winter.

ProsReliable, good on gas, clean ConsGutless 2.0 liter 4 cylinder, lame wheelcovers, low compression in one cylinder, no working dash lights due to a short circuit

"college Cruiser" — I owned this car for only a few months. It was a co-worker of my father's car that had 130,000 miles on it. It was tired mechanically since the 2.0 liter 4 cylinder had been run to death. On the plus side it looked good and was clean inside and out. After some minor detail work and a new exhaust system & set of tires...I drove this down to college where I proceeded to sell it for more than 3 times what it was worth. |
