Toyota Should Build Them Again — rear wheel drive is better than front wheel any day. less maintenance beter handling. easier to repair. At 113223 miles i am still getting more than twenty mpg. Not bad for a 23yr old car. i plan to keep it until i die. Primary Use: Family transportation |

I Thought It Was A 4 Cylinder At First. Stands Out Nicely For An 87 Vehicle. — Just got a 87 cressida for 500, All is needs are battery, brakes, and PS Pump. It runs well and drive very nice. Plenty of power. Cant wait to do maintenance on it. Gas mileage seems decient for a i6 car. It had 166599 on it so far. One owner car. The door locks seem flakey.. I had a 1994 Ford taurus but the tranny went bad from over filling. Oops... Never over fill your tranny! Primary Use: Commuting to work |

Awesome Family Car! — I found this car in 2007 on Craigslist. It had been listed for 10 minutes when I asked the guy to send me pics of it. I fell in love immediately! I paid him half of the $2400 via pay pal and hopped on a plane in Louisville, Ky and flew to San Francisco to get it. The guy I bought it from recently inherited it from his father. It had 120k miles on it. His father was the original owner and an accountant. The guy gave me a huge file binder that had receipts and records of everything the guy ever did to the car. It included the original window sticker, bill of sale, brochure, and even the port slip. I believe it was the last year to be imported from Japan. He had paid $27000 for it. The records were in chronological order and absolutely complete. He even saved the receipts when he took it to the dealer for new wiper blades and all his car wash receipts! Seriously! The records showed that in the last 10000 miles he had replaced the following; all A/C components, starter, alternator, radiator, tires, shocks, coils, timing belts, all engine and transmission gaskets, carpet, retractable antenna, battery, and much more. It had always been garage kept and never smoked in. It is still a 100% rust free car. And I still love it and hope I never have to get rid of it. Primary Use: Family transportation |

Fun To Drive — i bought this car for $900. i am not ashamed of my purchase. everything works fine and the power and performance are killer. after installing 2 12's in the trunk and a new head unit the sound system is great. all mine needs is some minor body work and a paint job. the royal blue on this car is sexy.
