Pros

Fun to drive. Indestructible.

Cons

Maintenance Cost! Back Seats are a Waste.

Good If You Can Keep Up With The Maintenance — My Dad bought this car to teach me how to drive a stick shift and we just kept it. It's an excellent daily driver as it gets pretty good gas mileage. It has 213,000 miles on it, but the thing is a indestructible German car, but the maintenance is very costly unless you can do some of it yourself. It's fun to drive. The transmission is in the back and engine in the front which makes for superior handling and performance. This also adds to maintenance headaches. It has back seats, but they are a waste as you MIGHT be able to put a small child or a bag of groceries in them. I would want the seats either pushed back a foot or just cut them out completely. Although, the cargo space is exceptional for a car of its size and caliber.

too much required maintenance.must adjust valves every oil change, timing belt every other and always having to tighten something or other on it

Love The Car, Hate The Maintenance — great car, handles like a dream, could use a bit more horsepower, but is very fun to drive on curvy roads

engine, transmission, suspension, acceleration, handling/steering, build quality

Cons

repair costs, fuel economy, tire wear, timing belts

Fun Car To Drive In Summer :d — one of the greatest handling cars ever produced (in my opinion) relatively cheap to buy, but can be expensive to fix. fuel mileage is only so-so.. especiallly for a 4 cylinder car. all worries go away tho with a quick run down a twisty road :)

Pros

decent speed, awesome handling, fun to drive, attention, it's a Porsche

Cons

Nothing so far

Awesome Handling Machine (shadow) — My first car and i hope to keep it forever. It has incredible handling and it is awesome to drive on winding roads. In the process of restoring it and improving performance. Parts are expensive but thats the cost of owning a Porsche.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Not Bad For A 21 Year Old Car — Bought this 4 years ago and it is the only car I've ever owned that is both paid for and increasing in value.

Pros

Its a Porsche!

Cons

Expensive repair costs

I Love My Car — Fast, Quick, Handles great, Good gas mileage, Interior is simple and beautiful, but seems to lack a certain plush elegance that a porsche usually offers, body design is boxy and perfect for the years it was in production, it doesnt break down often, but when it does it is slightly expensive.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros

Cons

Engine from a van so only 124 hp,  engine is only problem

Fine — i mean it´s a porsche what would you choose to drive a toyota corrola 93 model or a 87 porsche 924 with a aftermarket turbo nothing can be better, i mean maybe i has not powerful engine and its from a van, but still its a porsche and it has porsche soul :)

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)
