Pros

Ahead of its time.  Pontiac builds excitement.

Cons

305 was quick but I wanted faster - but then came the 90's.  You got it Pontiac

255

First Stick Muscle Car. — This was my first "muscle" car. I always loved the KITT look of the 1980s Trans Ams, 5-spd, 305, this car was ahead of its time. This car could hang with some of the cars they build today. This car turned me into a Trans Am loyalist. T-roofs and chicks man.

Wanting Another — the number one vehical i owned... maybe because dad taught me how to build cars and we built it together but by far my favorite... fast as hell witha built up enforcer 350 and no govornor in the tranny with 2.75 gears in the rear meant all top end

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

Fun Fun Fun

Cons

Fuel Prices

Drive It And Find Out For Yourself — Like the torque and power dont like the fuel bills. Great in the dry but an absolute unpredictable nightmare in the wet but sideways driving always gives me a big smile. Wish it was in better condition but its a rolling restoration and will get there in the end

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

the beauty of it - what can I say, it was yellow!

Cons

don't have it anymore

85 Trans Am Beauty — fun car to drive with a 350 roller motor - acceleration was great, t-tops for a great sunny day drive, custom interior for a styling look, had a few bugs to tweak out when we got it but it was a charm to drive. miss this car!

Wont Be Selling Mine Ant Time Soon. — i love the handling. when you sit in it you think she is a boat but when you put it in gear and turn your first corner, you find your self speeding up for the next. emision crap is for the birds and the exhaust is a joke. high flow cat and catback exhaust and a holly rebiult quadrojet and k&n air filter and now she is even better. 52,000 miles and counting. going LS1 and 6 speed manaul soon.

Pros

Powerful and cheap to maintain

Cons

Fuel efficiency and lack of support from GM

Excelent — Best bang for the buck in my opinion. Fast and fun, it is like a mix of a sports car and a muscle car. Plenty of room inside the car and upgrades for it are very cheap. It was built for high mileage and will last forever.

Pros

I love the T-Tops

Cons

Not as structurally sound as it should be because of the T-Tops.

I Really Enjoy It. — It doesn't perform like I think it should but you can't expect much out of a stock 305. It's a great looking car, in my oppinion, and it's fun to drive. It's pretty plain and all stock, down to the radio in it.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

I Love It, And Will Hope To Have It Forever!!! — Lots of fun!! So far its been a project because it has needed some TLC, but I love having the car!!! One day I am hoping it is complete, and then I shall take the ultimate road trip cross country!!

You may want to look good in a car but in my eyes all you need is the sound and you cant beat a V8 for sound quality because it just rumbles, slowly ticking over waiting to eat you up with sound. Read More

A Time Capsule Throw Back To An Era Most Would Rather Forget. By Kurt
