Love It — i have a 85 Pontiac Trans Am with the 305 which previously to this car i hated. Since owning this vehicle i have come to enjoy this engine quite a bit. parts are cheap, not terribly slow, and not too bad on gas. interior is deffintly a 2 seater unless your a midget. exterior is excellent, i love the 3rd gen style. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

ProsThis 1985 3rd Generation Pontiac Trans Am still turns heads, it seems like the design will never be outdated. I love how it drives and the sound of an American V-8 under the hood. The seats are really comfortable and the view either to the rear and sided are excellent with all the glass on this car. The power from its 5.0, TPI engine is outstanding with the tuned port and the 8 injectors spraying fuel right over the intake valves for a great amount of engine torque. This classic Trans Am will keep up with the current pony cars of today. ConsIt is not an economy car but I do get a respectable 18 MPH around town and about 24 on the Highway.

This Blast From The Past Is Still A Head Turner — Whats not to like about owning a classic car like this, it looks great, handles great and runs great. I get more comments about owning this car than I do with my 2008 Pontiac Solstice GXP. I also love the fact that it will "No Longer Lose Value" as it ages, so I consider it a wise investment as every year that goes by it will only gain in value. To bad Pontiac no longer makes cars, but just think of it, if GM made new cars that look like the classics of yesterday and applied all the new safety and engine features used today, I would be first on line to be buying one. |

I Love It, And Will Hope To Have It Forever!!! — Lots of fun!! So far its been a project because it has needed some TLC, but I love having the car!!! ProsI love the T-Tops ConsNot as structurally sound as it should be because of the T-Tops.

I Really Enjoy It. — It doesn't perform like I think it should but you can't expect much out of a stock 305. It's a great looking car, in my oppinion, and it's fun to drive. It's pretty plain and all stock, down to the radio in it. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

Excelent — Best bang for the buck in my opinion. Fast and fun, it is like a mix of a sports car and a muscle car. Plenty of room inside the car and upgrades for it are very cheap. It was built for high mileage and will last forever. Primary Use: Commuting to work |

ProsNot overly powerful but a powerful engine that can get up to speed in a timely fashion. Car grips turns extremely well except when in a downpour rain(obviously). Comfortable front seating and great appearance. Overall a beautiful car on the eyes and in the seat. ConsTTops are moderately annoying and there are so many different tools needed to work on the engine and engine components.

Beautiful 1985 Pontiac Trans Am — 5.0 L 305 TPI 1985 Pontiac Trans Am 73,000 Miles Overall I am glad I purchased this car and would recommend it to anyone who appreciates cruising on an open road- T Tops out listening to the sound of the motor roar while you overtake other vehicles on the road. |

Wont Be Selling Mine Ant Time Soon. — i love the handling. when you sit in it you think she is a boat but when you put it in gear and turn your first corner, you find your self speeding up for the next. emision crap is for the birds and the exhaust is a joke. high flow cat and catback exhaust and a holly rebiult quadrojet and k&n air filter and now she is even better. 52,000 miles and counting. going LS1 and 6 speed manaul soon. Primary Use: Commuting to work |

85 Trans Am Beauty — fun car to drive with a 350 roller motor - acceleration was great, t-tops for a great sunny day drive, custom interior for a styling look, had a few bugs to tweak out when we got it but it was a charm to drive. miss this car! Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

Drive It And Find Out For Yourself — Like the torque and power dont like the fuel bills. Great in the dry but an absolute unpredictable nightmare in the wet but sideways driving always gives me a big smile. Wish it was in better condition but its a rolling restoration and will get there in the end Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |
