Pros

I bought this car new with .8 miles on her.  I rebuilt (because I could!) the entire engine within a month of getting it (wanted more power).

Cons

3 months later, my sweet ride was stolen only to be found in pieces in Texas a month later.

1985 Mustang Gt Anniversary Editon — This was my first 'new' car. I worked at a auto parts store and had lots of friends in the business. I got to get high performance parts at a discount and my buddys and I rebuilt the motor a few weeks after getting it - I wanted to go faster!

My 85 — car started as a 4 cyl it was converted into a v8 the car is not meant for everyday driving. I enjoy taking it out and crusing the town . I hope to do more to the car in the near future

All In All, Fun Little Car — Recently rebuilt the motor. Added under drive pulleys, cam, heads, and headers. Need bigger exhaust. is 2 1/4 going to 2 3/4 straight pipes with flowmaster mufflers. need new rearend. With sticky tires and a solid launch-rear end is toast. Needs a little TLC and it's ready for any show

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

The unbelievable feel of it, For being a coming-out-emission-era car, its not bad at all, espically compared to it's competors.

Cons

If you don't like working on a car every week or so, do NOT get one.

Only The Second Best Car I've Driven, First Is My 67 Stang. — Its a pretty good ride all in all. Rides smooth, handles turns well. There is a tad bit of noise coming from the rear, but nothing serious..yet.... But performance-wise, its not too bad, great take off, but tends to bog sometimes, with or without clutch. Sometimes it takes it a bit to respond to the pedal. It gets decent gas mileage for a V8. Little under 15, I've been told with some more tuning and easier driving I can even reach 17 maybe even 18. This is Atlanta's Suburban city driving. Haven't driven in the highway much, so I don't know the mileage there. I personally believe there's nothing meaner looking than a Foxy of the Ford line, albeit it has to be modified exterior a bit.

My Baby — Overall, I absolutely love my car! I bought it when I was 16 and I'm 25 now. I've put about 11,000 dollars into it so far. It has a 306 with an Edelbrock 600 carburetor, Headers, Msd distributor, Mallory coil, Electronic Spark Discharge Box with Rev Limiter, 355 rear-end gears, Super Duty T-5 transmission, Dual core high flow radiator, BBK X-pipe exhaust, 4 point seat belt harness's. Etc. I'm still doing a lot to it but, it is worth every penny and my love!

Quick, virtually endless aftermarket support.

Cons

Obviouslly it's a fair weather only vehicle, but... I can't think of anything other than that.

1985 Mustang Gt — Neck snapping torque (it's a 351w, not a 302), still gets 20+ mpg on the highway, and 16 in town. I like that it's not nearly as common as the 87-93 Aero nose Mustangs, and the interior has more character in my opinion, flat dash, halo headrests, red piping on the upholstery. Love it.
