ProsThe performance, and appearance Consthe steering, and the insuracne

Camaro — This camaro as most 84 camaro's has a 305 engine, its has alot of acceleration, braking is good, handing is a little loose but when your going as fast as you can they i guess it would be, i have put alot 800 into it and i dont regret a penny of it, its looks great, as for gas, like i said its a 305 V8 so not very good on gas, but does okay as long as you keep your foot out of it. |

Prospower, looks great, the muscle car Consno avoidance!

Overall, Great Car. — Is a very fun car to drive, will take off by just barely touching the accelerator. Has a lot of torque, standard repairs for a car that sat for over 6 months. No major problems. gas mileage gets up to 20mpg, use synthetic lubricants and oil. I do all of my maintenance. This is the muscle car to have. Turns heads everywhere I go. Primary Use: Commuting to work |

ProsAwesome first car, tons of fun to drive, a t-top chick magnet ConsDoesn't have quite enough power to only be getting 12mpgs on a good day.

1984 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 — Well, the t-tops after awhile start to leak, but then again, every car that has any type of opening in the roof does. The car (although it's an automatic) is probably one of the most fun cars (if not THE MOST FUN) car i've ever driven. It definitely get's terrible gas mileage. i've put a flowmaster muffler on her, and an elelbrock carb and air filter. She's got a ton of torque and a decent amount of power through the gears. But she's not one of the cars that will shred rubber without doing a brake-stand. Anyway, overall, i love this car, fishtailing around turns is so fun. the car doesn't overexaggerate any drifts and she's not hard at all to spin sideways (as long as you know what you're doing). |

Prosawesome car and a lot of comments, the backseats are surprisingly comfortable ConsI have a 2.8L V6 so it doesn't have much power

Awesome And Fun — This car is very fun to drive and it takes corners very well at speeds for it's age. it's also a very nice daily driver and is very comfortable to drive. The V6 doesn't have as much power as most would want but it's a very reliable engine and it doesn't guzzle gas like the V8s do Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

ProsFun 2-person car but lacks the power or classic styling to make it desirable today. ConsTechnically a hatchback design but it had no useful storage space. No space for anything bigger than a gym bag.

Stylish 80s Coupe With Signature T-tops — Stylish in the 80s, but it does not have a classic look that would grab attention today. The unique attribute of the early 80s was the T-tops. Removing the glass panels was quick, but they took up the entire storage area which was very inconvenient. The 305 small block V8 only made 150hp, but performance was good for the time. Exhaust was well tuned and produced nice low rumble. The 4-speed automatic transmission was weak link as it began to slip after only 3 years and soon had to be rebuilt, of course after the warranty expired. Overall it was a fun car and held its value through the 80s but fuel economy was very poor, averaging around 12 – 13 mpg around town. |

Great Car For Begining Racers Or Rod Builders Looking For A Cheap, Quick, Fun Project. — Great car for begining rod builders. Cheap to make fast and parts are cheap and everywhere! Easy to personalize and customize for any track use like Grand-Prix and Drag Race. Very fun to drive, smaller engines for younger drivers and like I did, put a Corvette motor in it and enjoy the adrenaline! Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

Perfect — I love this car the acceleration is amazing not to mention the f body Camaros handled amazingly. The repairs at this point are expensive but because its an older car its built great. It looks amazing and sounds great. Gas mileage is obviously low because its a 5L. Its fun as hell to drive and flies. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

I Love This Car. — It needs some work. Which is fine because that's what I enjoy doing. It's fast, handles well, brakes well, and sounds good. It definitely needs some TLC but it's a GREAT project. It does however DRINK gas...Oh and premium unleaded only :-) Primary Use: Commuting to work |
